Blaming the plant closures on Brexit has been publicly exposed as a lie, it have have hastened the decision but one reason is diesel falling out of favour for environmental reasons but really with the Jap plants the removal of tariffs by the EU contributed in large part to the writing on the wall - so really it was the EU.

Its worse than that, almost from day one they have painted those who chose Leave as Racists and do so openly on here, but its a bit like the "Tunk will kick the shit out of Ant" thread, they use these labels behind a computer, Bob, Gent, Buttfly, Foo...you can see where this is going, they all do it.

Local elections in May, fuck knows when the Euro elections are June I think so no doubt we will now be participating in those to with a general election aswell on the horizon. Interesting times ahead for labour and Tories and how they are going to sell themselves to voters now.

Interesting indeed. I don't really want one but it feels like a GE is the only way to shake this bunch of disingenuous oxygen thieves out of Westminster; the risk is we could end up with Bob's idol in power, God help us.

newsflash: EU 27 doesn't want the UK to participate in the Euro election, hence the may 22 deadline

Do keep up my little Algerian friend the May 22 leave date was if we voted through Doris deal which was rejected again today. April 12 is new freedom day now although we know here in the UK as you do in Algeria that that wont happen and we won't get the clean Brexit we both want so sadly due to our spineless politicians you will be putting up with us for a few more years yet probably forever as I now believe we will never be allowed to leave.

If they're feeling really brave they might even shout at a pregnant woman or go so far as to jostle some children.

The more they inflict miminal damage on their places of worship, the more media sympathy they garner...just sayin.

When was the last time we had an unelected and unaccountable leader of Europe?

The British fought that too and won.

The collapse of the EU is in the post, similar to the collapse of the USSSR.

    Greed is their downfall.

The people of the UK, Europe and the rest of the world just want to live and work in peace without parasites taking the piss.

The Brits all races and religions are leading the way in restoring common sense to the common market.

Charlemagne, Napoleon, Hitler? No, Napoleon was elected and the Brits never fought Charlemagne. Hitler was elected. There are no current unelected leaders of Europe. Who are you talking about then?

I'm not referring to the current leader of the United States of Socialist Europe Herr Juncker, who ironically has the same surname as the Luftwaffes infamous aircraft. Did we vote for him to become leader of the European commission? I must have missed that election.

No I'm referring to the painter and decorating enthusiast with the slug on his lips who ruled Europe from 1939 to 1945 till the British kicked him into touch

Ah. I see your knowledge of European history is on a par with your knowledge of European politics Your knowledge of German aircraft isn't great either, the aircraft manufacturer is Junkers. Well done. A hat trick of wrongness

Junkers job, to which he was elected, is similar to that of Mark Sedwill (although of course unlike Junker Sedwill despite being one of the most powerful men in the UK has never been elected to anything), you with your interest in politics will of course know who he is.
