Unless it is photoshopped or you can provide a less implausible 'maybe' that vbrg is EU, so stop being so defensive and risk accepting certain realities.

Whatever are you taking? Butter's confirmed in the post below mine the EU peacekeeping force it had likely been assigned to and Kosovo was one of those assignments. Maybe was simply because it could have returned from a trip to Africa but that's not so likely.

The fact is it is a French made vehicle being used in France not a fooking Tiger tank issuing yellow vests to cause a fooking uprising.

You are reading too much into a vehicle hurriedly pulled out of moth balls for use in the streets of France

BTW why is everyone so concerned about having an EU army anyway? Surely it has benefits for the EU, many countries of which see being a member from a different viewpoint to the UK. It has United Europe in a way it has not been United before and a multi national army may unite foreign policy as well as keeping the peace within.

Indeed. A poisoned chalice that she has agreed to take the wrap for reversing and then slinking away to her millions hence "I won't fight the 2022 election". Because she is an EU Federalist which goes hand in hand with being a corrupt multi millionaire (like Butcher Blair) she has no allegiance to the people of the country at all, and is quite willing to pretend to represent them to push her agenda. Even if she had lost she would have been replaced by the other Europhile, Boris Johnson, who also voted remain.

Brexit is being used to cover up their real crimes though. It's a charade. It will go nowhere and you will be receiving your pension in Euros soon enough so no bother.... well until the EU launches their austerity on the country in retaliation.

Do you mean to say Maybot was just hours away from having MPs vote for her deal when she herself wasn't clear on the exact details of her own deal?

& her lack of clarity on her own deal was/is so immense, that it's going to take 5 weeks before she becomes clear on the details of her own deal?

Sorry, I was clearly wrong because Butters confirmed it was likely...

The fact is it is a French made vehicle being used in France not a fooking Tiger tank issuing yellow vests to cause a fooking uprising.
And now a fact, French made vehicle being used in France. Is part of this 'fact' also that it was likely assigned to Kosovo?

You are reading too much into a vehicle hurriedly pulled out of moth balls for use in the streets of France
Now it was hurriedly pulled out of moth balls...is that likely or a fact, or something you deduced from the previous likelihoods?

BTW why is everyone so concerned about having an EU army anyway? Surely it has benefits for the EU, many countries of which see being a member from a different viewpoint to the UK. We finally got there, well done. Only, that's a separate issue entirely, since the formation of an EU army would be a fact in the sovereign sense, unlike as I cited yesterday the stature of a flag or anthem. If the purpose of the EU army is to sideline NATO, it will bankrupt the EU esp with the second net contributor leaving. And don't overdo the celebrations on the final divorce invoice, that's going toward whatever Greece and soon Italy and others will be begging for; then poof it's gone and everyone turns to Frau for more, which I'm sure all good krauts are eager to share for such a worthy cause.

Aside from those trivial money bits, and the false security offered by a prestigious military sponsored by all and effectively controlled by one (your guess which), it is more 'likely' to be used against its own citizens and puny third world wogs than Russia, China or the evil empire over the pond.

As they say, be careful what you wish for, it may come true.

What the majority fail to realise is the French stance on going into foreign theatres.
The rules are quite simple. If it does not benefit France, the answer is a resounding Non!

They have done exactly the same with the UN and NATO in the past.

Arms sales to dictatorships or middle eastern terrorists, no problem. France acts only in Frances interest and it has always been that way.

For an institution that cannot decide on the specification of fruit and vegetables, try getting them to commit french troops to an EU initiative. And it’s often said that Merkel Is indecisive. She ain’t got nuthin on the French.

Acting decisively on behalf of 27 countries is nigh on impossible, so the entire idea is just more grandiose foolishness by the idiots who run the three ring circus that is such a doomed and costly experiment.

Very true... except that the recent protests show that the actual people of the country are starting to realise that there is a distinct difference between National Interests and the people of Frances interests.

NATO is basically North America, Canada and a large mix of European countries, a total of 29, which have difficulty acting together and still lack common 'Command&Control' as well as equipment. The different equipment is IMO more a benefit than a weakness but the lack of common processes and procedures is much more of a problem. If the EU were to standardise their procedures and align their communication networks to a level above that of NATO then previous problems, highlighted during the Balkans conflict, could be significantly reduced. The UK could have played a pivotal role in this if they had wished.

The old gal is certainly expending her energy to push her deal though. Off to the EU summit now. She can't be accused of low energy regardless of her motives.

Doubt the EU will do more than a bit of word smithing so she is pissing into the wind. It will never pass parliament vote.

The will of the British people is no longer even a minor consideration. All about political party survival. Much more insanity to come before the curtian closes on this entertaining opera. Keeping me away from Netscape.

Since the Maybot has promised not to lead the Tories in the next GE she will go down in history as the scapegoat for Brexit and its failings. She won't get any legal changes to the negotiated agreement, just a pat on the back and a few smiles. The agreement is the best Brexit deal on offer, so for those that want Brexit - just take it. The alternative has to be no Brexit at all and this is the way Maybot has to get her agreement through the Commons.

Apparently May only said she wouldn't lead the Tories into the scheduled 2022 general election but was non committal if there was a snap election next year. She will lead the Tories to a 1997 wipe out or worse if doesn't step down. Never thought I'd see a worse PM than Brown but I've proven wrong with the disaster that is Doris.

The deal on offer isn't Brexit though, that's the problem.
