I think Seeking asylum has been locked out by the forum upgrade. Butterfly has taken up the challenge of deriding Brexit.
Not quite up to the challenge are you dear?

Let's get this straight, the UK are making concession upon concession during the Brexit negotiations whilst the EU have made precisely none and you still think the UK have the upper hand?

The UK media sure have done their job in dumbing down the masses....

Meanwhile, will Ms May make it to the end of the Tory Party conference?

What concessions? Have we agreed to pay there 100 billion demand? Is the ECJ still going to supersede UK law?

^ Good to see the €100bn demand still being used. It makes it easier for y'all to swallow the real figure, when it is finally made public.

The UK have made concessions on the rights of EU citizens living in the UK. It looks as though the ECJ could be used in some form to ensure these rights remain beyond the brexit date.

The UK cannot afford to lose trading with the EU. Further concessions will be made before a future trade relationship begins. The idea of paying to stay in for a further two years speaks volumes.

Again you seem rather fond of the word concessions without actually spelling out the specific concessions we are supposed to have made. Here is a tip stop swallowing anti Brexit propaganda from deluded twats who even at this stage still believe Brexit won't happen.

Indeed, what sort of idiots expect Europeans living in the UK to be under European law instead of British?

That would be like a Briton stopped for driving in Romania or the Czech Republic after a beer, and then claiming that their limit of zero doesn't apply to him.

    Imbeciles.

Whatever sort of answer is this? Have you gone full retard in your support for Brexit?

PM May suggested that the ECJ may be used for clarification during her speech in Florence. It is a climb down from one of her red lines that said that EU citizens in the UK would be subject purely to UK law.

With the dangers that UK law will change post brexit in a way that endangers EU citizen rights, it is only to be expected that the EU wants those rights maintained as part of the brexit package.

The UK has already backed down on leaving the EU human rights convention...thank goodness.

How is the tory bun fight going in Manchester?

It is "only to be expected"?

Get fucked, they can expect them in the EU and nowhere else.

    As it is now.

    What shite you write.

Your reply is an insult to the thousands who were forcibly taken from their homes and employed in slave labour camps.

Mainland Europe effectively became a German colony whose population worked for Germany not with it. And you are working for Germany now but with the Euro enforcing servility.

Well the EU has voted by a very large majority against the UK starting trade talks in parallel. Let's see how the UK make those May promises concrete...by Christmas

What promises? It's very noticeable in your posts you never mention anything specific with any detail, just meaningless generalisations. As to the EU parliament today it's just more evidence that we were right to leave, seeing how they try hold individual countries to ransom. I'm longing for the day we just walk away and don't pay them another penny.

oh shutup you little hypocrite English man,

so don't come lecturing us about death camps and forced labor, you have done your part in those too

now get with the program, and either join France and Germany in the new EU empire, or fuck off back to your miserable island, alone

That's the problem buriramboy, the UK still haven't put anything on paper. It's all wishy-washy stuff so the Brexiteers don't get too upset until a deal is done. However, if you bother to read between the lines of the Florence speech you will see that the UK have backed down on a couple of things. EU citizen rights and a clean exit in March 2019 for starters. The UK will be paying a brexit bill on top of this, despite Boris and the UK will be paying in the future to remain in certain EU associations.

Once this is put in black and white to the satisfaction of the EU then parallel trade talks might begin. Meantime, UK construction suffered an unexpected drop which, together with the collapse of Monarch, makes the UK position even weaker.

So now the collapse of Monarch is down to Brexit is it? FFS you just can't make this shit up. Go and research the company a bit and you'll see why it collapsed but I'm sure all the staff will be able to find employment with Ryan air.

How have they backed down on citizens rights, everyone has always said anyone here should be allowed to stay but whether they will need visas or work permits is going to take time to sort out. Nothing to see here.

Of course we won't have the clean exit many people want as you have a pro EU civil service and the government led by a remoaner.
