The CM saved the Brits from collapse, knowing full well the roadmap would lead to a full integration eventually, with the EC first in 1992 and then the EU

you had plenty of chance to bail out but didn't, too happy to go along and reap all the benefits of that membership

now you want to quit over a tantrum, fine with us, and we can respect that, but what we can't accept is your "demands" to have a deal on exit that will have only the advantages without the obligations,

well fook off then and take Cy with you

I'm sure everyone of your Belgique comrades will be dancing in the street when Britain leaves DF.
Just a couple of words from people that no a great deal more about the economic effects on your dreary little country once you are no longer allowed to suckle on the british teat. Another article which i have read estimates a soft Brexit will mean about 10,000 job losses in Belgium and a hard Brexit could be up to 40,000 job losses. That of course does not take into account the Brit welfare payments, ingrates like you will no longer get when the Brits cut off their welfare pipeline to Belgium.
At least you wont have to worry about the 40,000 Belgium refugees smart enough to leave Belgium and live in Britain. They will be able to repatriate some money to their poorer brethren in the old country to help keep it afloat. See how well that goes for you. Better brush up on your German now you will no longer have the big kid over the channel to help you. Oh by the way I'm sure in the spirit of a clean Brexit you wont forget to repay the 40 billion you guys owe to the U.K. banks.
You are the chihuahua barking at the lion because he thinks the tiger behind him will back him up, but the tiger is licking his lips. Just thought you may need a dose of reality to help you down from your extraordinary Brexit fantasy. Hope your balcony is on the ground floor when you have finished reading. ................ ..........................Taa Taa.

Indeed. Why so many posts are about Belgium and Belgian civil servants has baffled me. It's a bit like thinking all UK MPs are from London.

I doubt the EU civil service will make dramatic cuts to its workforce, it's really not that large wrt the population it serves even without the UK.

Meanwhile the negotiations are reaching a crescendo before the inevitable agreement. The UK and the EU need eachother, that's the main point all need to understand.

you don't deserve an agreement, and if you do get one, you will only get obligations for little advantages, so what's the point really ?

With airline tickets for April on the market will Uk citizens need a visa for transit to say Denmark visit to France, Spain, Switzerland.
Having to schlepp around 4 bangkok emabssies be fun or will there be one EU or Schengen visa if so would you go to the first country of stay or transit like a Thai?

If entering before the Brexit say 10pm on March 29 will the traveller get stamped in for a limited period?
I used to have a job at a calendar factory.
    I got the sack because
I took a couple of days off.

I see you pay as much attention to my Nationality as you do about learning economics. I'm Australian and don't give a flying fork for you eurodrama queens. I am just trying to educate you on the economic effects on both sides. You seem to be living in some sort of economic fantasy where the negative effects of Brexit will only apply to one side.

It’s the same for you, butterfluffer. You are French, so you hate the British. The EU doesn’t affect you so why bother.
Ingrained hatred from birth is the reason you don’t want the British to leave.
You have sucked on the socialist teat for so long, you worry you might have actually do something to earn a crust, when the UK stops paying for your ludicrous agricultural policy.
The heads of all major EU car markets are shitting themselves because they will have put taxes up to sell product in UK.

Get used to being a poor angry winger.

we don't hate the Brits, we find them ridiculous and acting like demanding princess, and they won't even swallow after we are done with them, how rude ?

seriously the Brits are the most rude people in the world, of course they confuse rudeness and politeness, but you all got my drift

Meanwhile, back to No 10, and trying to placate her ministers as well as the EU is proving to be an impossible task for the Maybot. Will she go for the extended stay in the Customs Union and upset the brexiteers or rejoice in a no-deal brexit and upset everyone else?

Whatever the Maybot decides she'll have a hard job getting it through Parliament. Lucky that Corbyn is so despised that she is still in office...

^ Not so fast Butter's...it's not finished yet! There's still injury time and the possibility of extended extra-time. More than that, the Maybot may be forced to send on some new subs as her players threaten to leave the field. The problem is she still doesn't know what the goal looks like, let alone score...still a possibility of a couple more own goals before they all face the same way.

Brexit must be comedy gold for the neutrals...
