Haha, yeah that's a laugher. Pretty much everything you've predicted in this entire thread just got blown to shit. And there you are, right back on full blown irritation mode as if you're just entitled to a complete mulligan on everything that you've said the entire thread.

    Just no

    ^^...

The funny thing is that you actually appear to think your disingenuous dribble, attempts to obfuscate with straw men and non sequiturs and turd polishing is somehow clever, subtle, and not at all ham-fisted.

red, once this ny times/wa post/cnn media storm dies down, muller is not going to charge don jr. for anything just because he took a meeting with a russian bird connected to a miss universe friend of his who said she had info that the russians were supporting the dnc (probably talking about the "dodgy dossier").

unlike, those hyperventilating on this thread, muller will take a sober look at this, like you should, red.

so, you want to say that don jr. committed treason but you're unwilling to make a prediction that don jr. will go to jail over this?

those be some big ballz you have, ant?

You'll just apologize and excuse whatever away. Anything else would be admitting the things you've said are crap

    OK, you got me.

Very clearly the most pressing issue here is my reticence to make a prediction over a series of ongoing investigations that I'm not directly involved with and have no inside information about, and specifically why I won't comment about how they'll deal with this new information that has come to light and the final repercussions of it when the investigations conclude at an as yet indeterminate point in the future point.

It is in fact THE main issue. The ONLY issue.

Not, for example, that the President's son has been caught-out telling bald-faced lies trying to cover the fact that he attempted to collude with someone who was presented as an agent of a foreign power who possessed information with the potential to sway the U.S. election.

    That's trifling. Irrelevant. A side-show.

FRT, first with the issues that matter most!

The funny part in all this in that Drumpf Jnr and his defenders seem intent on trying to defend him and his integrity on the grounds that he didn't actually receive the info he expected he would and that he was transparent in the releasing emails after his lies had already been exposed and he was told someone else was going to.

what was the info he expected?

(can you answer a direct question for once, rather than giving a 2-3 paragraph answer about why you don't want to answer the question while throwing in some ad-hom)?

jared can't be too happy about this...

Two of Donald Trump’s most senior campaign advisers — Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort — are also included in the “private and confidential” email exchange, which the lawyers interviewed by POLITICO say exposes them to the same potential federal criminal statutes as Trump Jr., including prohibitions on the solicitation or acceptance of anything of value from a foreign national, as well as a conspiracy to defraud the United States.

The smoking gun, according to the attorneys, is the wording throughout the emails that Trump Jr. exchanges with a broker for one of his father’s former Russian business partners. At one point, Trump Jr. responds “love it” at the prospect of material that would “incriminate” Clinton. In addition, the source of the material says the offer of the material is “part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.”

“Extremely damaging,” said former Justice Department prosecutor Peter Zeidenberg. “Certainly shows an intent to collude with Russian government.”

    Completely pointless question.

My opinion on the information is entirely irrelevant and what the information was that he expected has been repeated ad nauseam in every single report on the topic. Read one for yourself.

Can you find out some widely reported and freely available information for yourself instead of asking/expecting me to do it for you.

    nope, you can't.

so, i'll answer it for you, ant:

here's the email that don jr. released:

Donald Trump Jr. emails reveal knowledge of Russian government offer to aid father's campaign - LA Times

“Emin just called me and asked me to contact you with something very interesting,” Goldstone wrote. “The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.”
don jr. thought he would get info that hillary was working with the russians.

can you with a straight face, ant,

say that don jr. was in a conspiracy with putin/the russians to defeat hillary by being interested in info that showed hillary was conspiring with the russians?

rather than typing another 3-4 paragraph post insulting me, take 10-20 minutes, while sipping (not downing another 2 cups) some coffee

to think about that as i've mentioned it to you a few times now and it hasn't appeared to sink in.

would be nice if in a discussion/debate you actually made the effort to engage in the debate and answer the point/question i made.

rather than like usual, ant, where you make a HUGE effort to avoid the question and post a few paragraphs about why you don't want to anwer the question and include some ad-hom.

though, of course, you're not going to change, ant, and i don't expect you to.

So you're still moaning that I didn't answer a question that you already knew the answer to.

You do actually realise that by your own admission it wasn't actually even a legitimate question and doing that isn't conducive to discussion... right??

Because you seem to be unaware that what you do is as transparent as all fuckery to everyone but yourself.

Breaking News: Drumpf Jnr implicated in attempted collusion

Practically Everyone Else: Wow! This could have severe consequences! I wonder what will become of this??

FRT: It's imperative that I get Ants' definitive prediction on the outcome, statement and opinion on something that I could easily find out for myself, and ask a series of increasingly irrelevant, specious and spurious, 'questions'! It's the only thing that matters, though when it invariably fails I'll just try to pretend like none of it happened by acting even more puerile. Nobody will notice.*

The investigation will certainly move more smoothly and rapidly if greaseball jr. is going to do Mueller's job for him.

Did you see Pence's statement? It was very pointed in saying that this occurred before he joined the campaign. Total arse-coverage.

Of course it also highlights another point, that being this happened relatively early on in Trump's campaign so gawd only knows what could've happened before or after.
