He snuck out last night for dinner at 21. Poor fellow, he is going to be in a state of shock over his new lifestyle. Every moment scripted, boring state dinners, meetings, details, no gold plated toilets, no sneaking away for nooners with his female staff.

why am I not surprised. I think she was drunk since morning, her face and smile were so strange when she went voting, completely high, the eyes of a crazy person. Anyone seeing this would have voted for Trump immediately.

Humbert I gravitated to posting here when Ajarn shut down recently. But I had set up SKkin in 2008 because Storekeeper my cousin was prodding me to start posting here. He also prodded me into posting at Ajarn back in 2005. You'll have to ask him why. But I was just more comfortable at Ajarn. I was at SZS and Ratpack as well.

No I'm not in Thailand and have never been. But I've learned a lot over the years from the posters at all these forums. Why am I posting here? I'll let you know when I figure it out myself. I can tell you for a fact that from what I've learned that the climate of Thailand would never suit me. It's too hot and humid for me here in Indiana let alone Thailand.

So there you have it. I've just realized I probably could be disqualified from here because the email addy I used to register here is history. If that's the way it goes so be it.
    Hey....it's OK.

*my arm reaching around, consoling you, hugging you gently*

    It's OK.

You're one of the good guys here. You're "in."

I love your posts, and I don't say "love" a lot.

You have insight and wisdom and I ain't talkin' bullshit.

Do you know I've not stepped foot in an airport since the TSA goons were turned loose...and I don't plan to. Actually I haven't been in an airport since 1999, but two years later...

Bill C should be able to give some sage advice on the subject. Though Bill was spry, in his late 40s upon getting in the first time, whereas Trump is 70. So maybe the point is moot.

WSJ: Trump didn't realize presidency was big job - AMERICAblog News

During their private White House meeting on Thursday, Mr. Obama walked his successor through the duties of running the country, and Mr. Trump seemed surprised by the scope, said people familiar with the meeting. Trump aides were described by those people as unaware that the entire presidential staff working in the West Wing had to be replaced at the end of Mr. Obama’s term.

Jason Miller, communications director for the Trump transition, declined to comment.

It's also being reported that he may be planning on going back to Trump tower for weekends. Wonder if he'll try and duck out early on Fridays.

Swiss practice a form of direct democracy rather than a representitive democracy as the US and most other democracies.

Swiss citizens vote regularly on all kinds of issues on every political level, such as financial approvals of a school house or the building of a new street, or the change of the policy regarding sexual work, or on constitutional changes, or on the foreign policy of Switzerland, four times a year. Between January 1995 and June 2005, Swiss citizens voted 31 times, on 103 federal questions besides many more cantonal and municipal questions.
I know they do, but Switzerland is hardly comparable to the USA. NY city and state has far more people in it that their whole country. It's always been neutral; it does not need much of a defense budget, its only real foreign policy position is to keep out of everything, and participate in nothing that might force them to take a stand. Domestic policy is to simply make money out of everything.

Nobody has ever attacked or invaded them because they live in a natural fortress and besides it's always been the safest place for corrupt political figures and dictators to hide their ill gotten gains , and more recently to have conferences relatively free of bottle throwing protesters.

The Swiss will deal with just about anybody as long as they have enough cash to pay for their services. It's more like an upscale resort run by a corporation that gives it's employees some voting rights. Good enough deal for the employees I suppose and it keeps them quiet, content and non-confrontational....probably from sheer boredom.
Sounds like a nice place to live seeing how the USA is going down the shitter more and more every year. plus you wouldn't have to deal with all the left against right, my teams better than yours bullshit on a daily basis.

I wonder how hard it is to immigrate there?
I'm not saying it was Aliens, but it was Aliens!

No one is trying to portray him as anything but what he's portraying himself as.

Where are you getting this 'most Americans' shite? She won the the popular vote by a decent margin and millions didn't vote at all. Millions hate Trump too, probably more than hate Hillary.
Fair point I do confess to clouded thinking thanks to the Russians getting to me via the Internet. It was the Russian interference in the cyber world that lost it for Hillary.
