Indeed. In the interests of fairness I must say this is a fairly common condemnation from all quarters. Misinformed or mistaken is not lying.
Lying is saying something you know is not true, such as what Trump does regularly.
But, also in fairness, I must say that Trump is such a narcissist and mentally deranged in such a way that he probably does believe some of the things he says, especially when those things are self-aggrandising. His oft-repeated comments about the crowd at his innauguration, for example, although demonstrably wrong, he probably really believes.
So Trump is not just a liar but a mentally disabled fool to boot.
