everyone involved in these negotiations should remember a line from "pulp fiction" ...(paraphrasing), "let's not start sucking each others dicks yet"

north korea has made and reneged on deals with every recent US president....this is what they do....it's their move....they promise to do exactly what the US, south korea and japan want....and as soon as they get their food and oil...they go right back to doing what they did before. lather, rinse, repeat.

and does anyone really think that kim is going to turn over his ICBMs?
    that's never going to happen.

of course it's never going to happen,

like you can't believe the words of any US President in their deal making, because they will turn around immediately on a false pretense and renegade on all those deals

even more so with Trump now,

Donald Trump says he doesn't think his personal lawyer Michael Cohen will 'flip' against him

    President Donald Trump-9685346-3x2-940x627-jpg
Mr Trump accused The New York Times of "going out of their way to destroy Michael Cohen".

US President Donald Trump has accused The New York Times of trying to get his longtime personal lawyer
Michael Cohen to "flip" against him, as the US Government continues to investigate Mr Cohen's business dealings.

    Key points:
    • The New York Times details allegations Mr Trump treated Mr Cohen poorly
    • Mr Trump lashed out personally against one of the journalists in response
    • He described the newspaper's sources as "non-existent"

Mr Trump lashed out at the newspaper and reporter Maggie Haberman on Twitter over an article published on Friday titled,
"Michael Cohen has said he would take a bullet for Trump. Maybe not anymore", which detailed allegations that Mr Trump
had treated Mr Cohen poorly for years.

In the tweets, Mr Trump accused The New York Times and Ms Haberman of "going out of their way to destroy Michael Cohen
and his relationship with me in the hope that he will 'flip'" — a term that can mean cooperating with authorities in exchange
    for leniency.

    From the link below:

"It took a while, but the Trump University fraud case officially reached its end last week. The political fallout, however, hasn’t quite run its course.

USA Today reported the other day on the end of the settlement agreement.

A federal judge finalized the $25 million settlement between President Trump and students of his now shuttered Trump University on Monday, with New York’s attorney general claiming “victims of Donald Trump’s fraudulent university will finally receive the relief they deserve.”
The order from U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel – the same Indiana-born judge Trump called biased because of his “Mexican heritage” – comes a year after he first approved the settlement. It marks the end of two class-action lawsuits and a civil lawsuit from New York accusing Trump of “swindling thousands of Americans out of millions of dollars through Trump University,” in the words of New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.
The circumstances are nothing short of bizarre: a sitting president of the United States has written a check for $25 million to a group of Americans who credibly claimed that he ripped them off by perpetrating a fraud.
You know things are bad for a president when a story like this goes almost entirely unnoticed by the public, eclipsed by a dozen or so more pressing scandals.
Regardless, after keeping a close eye on this case for a long while, I think it’s a shame to see the case end – because I’ve long believed this is one of the underappreciated controversies of Trump’s recent career." (More in link.)

Trump's talking about how loyal Cohen is and won't flip. If the investigation is a witch hunt and there's nothing to find, fliiping or cooperating is not an issue.

Trump's an idiot and just implicated himself once again.

Trump also apparently told Comey on at least two occasions that he couldn't have seen involved in the alleged 'pee pee tape' because he never even spent the night in Moscow.

Bloomberg obtained flight records that combined with Trump's own social-media posts show he was there at least two days.

Seems to me a man with nothing to hide would tell Cohen to fully cooperate. Answer all questions truthfully. We have nothing to hide!!

UJ's right, he just doesn't get it.

It's also noticeable that talk is about whether Cohen will or won't flip, not that he's actually innocent of anything.

Yes, innocent people don't talk like that. If you have nothing on me I'm not thinking about you 'flipping'. It's just not an issue. He's implicating himself and is too stupid to understand what he's saying.

Just like he hasn't figured out that when he said he knew nothing about Cohen paying out 130k to his ho he got Cohen's office raided.

showtime's "the circus" is back for season 3, and this week's episode, entitled "too many lawyers", was great.

if you're looking for an 'on the ground' week in review of american politics in a 1/2 hour format, this is the show for you....

Quite remarkable how easily Donald Trump can lie. It is not a sign of a well-adjusted individual, nor a trait of anyone you want in a leadership position.

Trump: "The mob takes the Fifth... If you're innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?"

Cohen: 'Hold my beer...' - pleads the Fifth.

So, just to be clear, the attorney for the sitting POTUS has invoked the 5th Amend in connection with issues surrounding the President.

Another day another Drumpf Administration crisis / scandal... Shit's getting routine.

it could be argued that's their strategy.

i'm not saying it started out as their strategy...but it very well could be now.

everything is spiraling out of control and some in the administration have decided to use it to their advantage to further their agenda...before it's all over

there are 3 cabinet members (pruitt, zinke, carson) who would have been out on their asses at any other time in US political history...but their corruption and incompetence is hidden by the greater corruption and incompetence of the president.

i suppose pruitt might finally get the axe this week, but he should have been gone a long time ago.

Strategy or not one thing is for clear, it all flows from Drumpf being completely unsuited and unqualified for the office he holds.

    Brushing "dandruff" off Macron's shoulder????
And announcing that that's what he's doing!
This classless, crass wanker just keeps on giving fuel to those that see him for what he is. What a wanker.

Meanwhile Ronny Jackson is not doing well in the limelight.

Probably shouldn't have picked someone so inexperienced to run a $186 Billion dollar a year government agency with 360,000 employees, eh?
