London Mayor says a state visit by Donald Trump 'would not be welcomed'
    following retweet of far-right group

The Mayor of London added his voice to mounting calls for President Donald Trump's state visit to the UK to
be cancelled over his retweets of a British far-right group.

Sadiq Khan said on Thursday that Mr Trump has promoted "a vile, extremist group" and an official visit by him
to Britain "would not be welcomed".

    Here

Sorry Sadiq ... you are speaking above your pay-grade.

You are the Mayor of London, not it's PM

EDIT:- Apparently there has been a long running feud between the two.

so, ant: you have almost 500 posts on this thread, saying this (basically):

    I don't like Trump

    Trump is an idiot

    Trump isn't presidential

    blah, blah, blah.

and after a couple more years, you'll have probably 1-2,000 posts on this thread saying the same thing and trump will still be president as you and anti-trumpers (especially in the mainstream media) whining and whinging about him won't result in his impeachment.

so, you know what they say about those repeating the same thing over and over, yet getting the same result (nothing changes)?

though, if all of this venting makes you feel better, keep it up, ant.

Ant, aka pi55flaps, knobertson, pismire and jizzmop unfortunately suffers from a combination of incurable tourettes and aspergers, these, coupled with the chronic immaturity syndrome he has been cursed with accounts for his annoying and disruptive habit of posting meaningless annoying lies and repetitions when in fact he should do this and the other forums he infects with his insanity a big favour and just fukk off.

At the end of the day, its best to put him on ignore as i have done, then the predictable bilge he posts is invisible, although the deserved insulting responses he gets are not.

He once posted over 250 times in a 24 hour period. He has been offered help, but like alcoholics, gamblers and drug addicts, until these unfortunates accept they have a mental disease, it is of little use offering help, sympathy and counselling.

Donald Trump considering plan to replace Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, US officials say

US President Donald Trump is considering a plan to oust Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who has had a strained relationship
with his boss over North Korea and other issues, senior administration officials said.

    Key points:

    • Mr Trump has publicly criticised Mr Tillerson's efforts on North Korea
    • Mr Trump reportedly asked his staff to develop a transition strategy
    • CIA director Mike Pompeo is rumoured to replace Mr Tillerson

Mr Tillerson would be replaced by CIA director Mike Pompeo, known as a Trump loyalist, within weeks under a White House plan to carry out the
most significant staff shakeup so far of his administration.

Republican senator Tom Cotton would be tapped to replace Mr Pompeo at the Central Intelligence Agency, the officials told Reuters.

I be disheartened of the Secretary of State was fired.
He seems to be doing an OK job.

He is doing just fine. Tillerson is not the problem. Trump is.
Tillerson should resign with dignity rather than put up with Trump's insanity.

Too late now that the rumour is out there. Better he take it on the chin because it will actually discredit Trump more than himself.

Honestly, what a dumb shit this boy is:

President Trump lashed out Thursday night at the not guilty verdict for an undocumented immigrant charged with murder in the 2015 shooting death of Kate Steinle, calling it "disgraceful."
“A disgraceful verdict in the Kate Steinle case! No wonder the people of our Country are so angry with Illegal Immigration,” Trump tweeted.

A jury for the Superior Court of San Francisco earlier Thursday acquitted Jose Ines Garcia Zarate of murder and manslaughter in the fatal shooting of Steinle, 32, in 2015.

Trump slams not guilty verdict in Kate Steinle trial: 'Disgraceful' | TheHill
...Which pretty well guarantees that any attempt by the prosecution to appeal the verdict will be thrown out.

(Given that she was hit by a ricochet of a bullet fired into the ground, it was a shaky, political prosecution anyway).

What are you on about, prosecution can't appeal, double jeopardy applies.

Guy had a concealed weapon while a convicted felon, a crime, any death or injury as the result of that crime is murder, manslaughter at least.

New defence for cops, gun went off by accident, so it's OK.

You are correct, I should have course said Retry, because they can't prosecute the same charge with the same evidence.

Having said that, he was acquitted of both Murder and Manslaughter.

The former doesn't surprise me at all since he never intentionally fired the gun at anyone, and obviously the Jury heard enough evidence from the defence to support this.

The prosecution, on the other hand, seemed to rely on a "Look, nasty foreign-looking chap killed a White girl!" approach.

Oh crap. They have no sense of fun.

American diplomats have postponed U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to Britain next month, the British Telegraph newspaper reported on Friday. The report follows a clash between Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May over Twitter after the U.S. president retweeted videos by a far-right party leader in Britain.
A new date for Trump's trip, the report says, has not been selected.

    Trump's natural approach too.
This is the second time (at least) that he's publically rebuked the judiciary for not deciding in the way he thinks things should be. Where on earth are his baby sitters?

the top 20% of americans pay 84% of the taxes.

    that being said:

looks like the tax cut bill (70% tax cuts for corporations, 30% for individuals) is going to pass and the question is how many democrats (in states that trump won) are going to jump on that train

which will bring trillions of dollars (parked offshore) back into the u.s. and push the gdp up for the foreseeable future (creating jobs for even those who don't even file for unemployment benefits anymore)?

The top-earning 1 percent of Americans will pay nearly half of the federal income taxes for 2014, the largest share in at least three years, according to a study. The bottom 80 percent of Americans are expected to pay 15 percent of all federal income taxes in 2014, according to the study.Apr 14, 2015
