Russians Gave Hacked DNC Emails To Wikileaks In Attempt To Elect Trump

Clinton Campaign Manager: Russians Gave Hacked DNC Emails To Wikileaks In Attempt To Elect Trump

Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook tells CNN's 'State Of The Union' on Sunday morning that a vast conspiracy is behind the release of damaging DNC emails this week. He puts forward the theory that the Russians hacked the DNC, and then gave that information to Wikileaks, who released it at the perfect moment in order to help elect Donald Trump.

"Sources are saying the Russians are releasing these emails for the purpose of actually Helping Donald Trump," he said. "I don't think it is coincidental that these emails are released on the eve of the [Democratic National] Convention."

"And that is distubring, I think we need to be concerned about that. We also saw last week at the Republican convention that Trump and his allies made changes to the Republican platform to make it more pro-Russian."

"He said NATO shouldn't neccesarily intervene to defend our Eastern European allies... When you put all of this together it is a disturbing picture."

"What evidence is there that the Russians were behind this?" follows up CNN's Jake Tapper.

"The hackers that got into the DNC are very likely to be working in coordination with Russia... They are being released at this time to create maximum wamage to Hillary Clinton. And to help Donald Trump," Mook added.

"It is a very, very strong charge," Tapper said. "You're basically suggesting that the Russians hacked into the DNC, and now are releasing these files through Wikileaks to help elect Donald Trump."

^Not surprising given Paul Mantafort's connections to Putin and the pro-Russia forces in the Ukraine.
There has also been a lot of money from Russia flowing into the Trump organization dating back several years.
It is starting to appear that Trump may have a pro-Russian agenda aimed at weakening the existing alliances the West has in Europe.

So he doesn't really know and he certainly has no proof.

^In any case, the accusations against Clinton have been going on for years without proof of any wrong doing. Welcome to the world of politics.

see, he might not be that bad as a President. And the alliances in the West, are all dictated by the silly Americans, so if Trump can break that pattern, he would be a bigger President for it.

    Go Trump, go

a traitor for making peace with Putin ?

is that how you would call past US President who did the same ?

you are being ridiculous and hysterical about Trump, he might be a clown, but he is way smarter than he appears, and he has a very liberal agenda. Mark my word.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced Sunday she is stepping down as chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee at the end of the party's convention, which is set to begin here Monday.

The Florida congresswoman's resignation -- under heavy pressure from top Democrats -- comes amid the release of thousand of leaked emails showing DNC staffers favoring Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders in the party's 2016 primary contest.

More ammo for Trump's "rigged system" statement.

Should be fired immediately but wouldn't play well given Hillary's other email issue.

^She has resigned. It was a foregone conclusion that new leadership of the DNC was warranted. She really could not conceal her bias for Clinton during the primaries.

I think you may be missing the point about Russia wanting Trump.
Russia wants the worst for America so America gets weaker.

Though I take your point and agree with the sentiment.

My point was actually a dig at Trump .

Alternatively, someone in the RNC could simply have paid Russian hackers to do the job.

Trump's support among some non-Americans, especially on this forum, is largely motivated by a wish to see America fail. I have made this point before. All this baloney about Trump being liberal is quite ludicrous and cannot be backed up factually.

Correct, but you've got to really hate the US with a vengeance if you want Trump to win. It will be a dangerous state of the globe.
I wonder if ISIS is channeling funds Trump's way.

Hard to know who is a better bet for ISIS. Trump's overt racism is obviously great for them and if he became President who knows what kind of craziness he might start. On the other hand, Clinton is sure to get busy bombing Muslims to fucking buggery, just like Obama did, and to show the same cack-handed indifference and arrogance, and that works in their favour too. I guess they win either way. God bless America, eh.

You think it's not going to be dangerous if Clinton becomes president? True, it will be the old, stable kind of danger, when violence is largely limited to being directed at poor brown people in countries far away, and international politics will revolve around talking up traditional ghosts and ghoulies, like Putin, (or better, letting batshit fucking crazy arseholes like Nuland off the leash) not the unpredictable danger of Trump, but it will be dangerous nevertheless.
