Total red herring ! It would be political suicide to ignore the clear result of the referendum and your hypothesis will not come to fruition. No room for Mel Gibson-like conspiracy theories in British politics.
jamescollister has been told that before but he still trots out the same silly comment.

It's a fantastic sunny day in Great Britain today, everybody I spoke to was on top of the world with happiness, it's the happiest I've ever seen the locals, it's like hostages being released.
What a great country, a big political change without a military coup , and shots being fired.
Some of you critics live in places like that.
The only comment from the media that I took note of, was that Twitter and other internet sites are full of angry posters who wanted to stay in.

You have more faith in the integrity of politicians than me.
2011 referendum [Alternative vote] was not an advisory referendum, it was legally binding.
This one was not, it was advisory only, why leave out the legally binding, if you didn't want an out clause.

No exit starts until this article 50 is filed, the EU has said, the sooner the better, as it will removes uncertainty, stabilizing the markets.
Cameron has said he is not going to file, he will leave that up to the new PM and cabinet, why wait.

As to political suicide, do you really believe that Labor and Conservatives, both in supports will be sent to the political waste lands, replaced by communists and national socialist in the 2 party system.

Everything is on hold until October, no need to wait, unless deals are to be made, the vote was in or out, not to make deals.
Article 50 is about deals for exiting, any other deal is about staying.

From my recall from this morning it's because some EU countries are due to have elections and they don't want the UK's withdrawal to influence those outcomes.

Nice spin on his part, good of the EU, not influencing elections.

EU referendum: UK 'must not delay leaving' - BBC News

EU leaders have insisted that the UK must move swiftly to negotiate leaving the organisation, saying any delay would prolong uncertainty.

Lot of hair on fire in stock markets and forex but although will take a bit of time to settle down, I think brexit will have a more profound political impact throughout Europe than an economic one.

We could show there's no hard feelings by filling in the only viable land link between the UK and Euro Strop.
That might quail their fears about change our minds.

The solution is in the hands of the electoral commission. Tory election fraud should mean 30 marginals will have to be rerun. Tories lose and a Labour SNP coalition nullifies the EU referendum.

Problem with that scenario is, on the basis of the referendum vote, the Labour 'safe' seats would be under extreme threat from UKIP. Were that to happen, not inconceivable that Labour would.be in England and Wales as they currently are in Scotland, i.e. not.

Crazy question.

What are the chances of Russia and Ukraine joining the EU in the not too distant future ?

We've now had one political earth-quake why not another.

SNP are finished now, no way will they get an independent Scotland.

They will have to tow the party line and shut up or have their (Barnet formulae)benefits slashed.

They'd be a basket case now with the price of oil as it is.

Over 1 million Scots voted out the EU!

I have just had an 'Ent moment' : Make London the Capital of Scotland and give NI to Ireland leaving England to fend for itself....outside the EU.

Good that the Banks can make 250bn available to shore up the markets...that'll be 10 years+ EU contributions

Looks like I'm going to have to go with Plan C and a move back to Asia for a while, until Europe sorts itself out.

At least it has made life more exciting....

Yea and who will suffer to pay for that. The Leavers. Pensioners, social housing getting clobbered once again. Higher taxes. Gag on the media.

UK interest rate 'likely to hit zero' following Brexit
UK interest rates are likely to hit zero in the next six months as the Bank of England moves to shore up the economy after the vote to leave the EU.
David Tinsley, UK economist at UBS, said Brexit meant "sharply lower growth, a large drop in the pound, and further easing from the Bank of England".
He expects two rate cuts from the central bank over the next six months.
It would take rates from a current record low of 0.5% to zero.
Rates have been at 0.5% since 2009 as Britain has struggled to recover from the 2008 financial crisis.
UBS also expects the vote to put off rate rises in the US.
Economists had thought Janet Yellen, governor of US central bank the Federal Reserve, would put rates up in September - something UBS now thinks won't happen.
Mr Tinsley expects UK growth rates to fall to zero in the second half of the year, the economy had been growing by about 2%, and in the long term there could be even greater damage.
Much depended on future trade negotiations, and what type of access the UK had to the European single market.
"In our view [Brexit] could lower long-run UK GDP by about 3.0% under a scenario in which access is very restricted," he said.

UK interest rate 'likely to hit zero' following Brexit - BBC News

Ouch!...But you all knew that was going to happen ...

...So who'll want to invest in the UK? Probably a better bet to invest in LahLahLand

...but you all knew that as well...

...bunch of clever dicks...

Really? It's pissing down here in Hertfordshire.
Really ?? I have been working in Tring all day today been there since 8am left at 4.45pm and have seen nothing but brilliant sunshine

Nice place Tring, famous for being what???
There was an Old Person of Tring,
Who embellished his nose with a ring;
He gazed at the moon,
Every evening in June,
That ecstatic Old Person of Tring

Edward Lear

It also has a Tesco.
