If I was on a side that was waging war against nobody, I think I'd go home.

Are you that dense? The oligarchs of this nation have been waging a methodical war against the working class and poor for decades. The relentless assault on labor unions, trickle down economics, etc is class war pure and simple.

You do love that word 'oligarchs' don't you. Did you just learn it? You use it in practically every one of your nonsensical posts.

I suggest you Google the definition of 'war'. If you're too dense to handle that, it's "a state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state".

IMO, there is NO class war.

It's just the very few who are in position to make more money (yes, greed) are doing so.

They do not care who they screw.

    Oh jeezus christ. War;

    Simple Definition of war

    • : a state or period of fighting between countries or groups
    • : a situation in which people or groups compete with or fight against each other
    • : an organized effort by a government or other large organization to stop or defeat something that is viewed as dangerous or bad

Maybe you should stick to current affairs in the Philippines because you clearly have no idea what is going on stateside.

Discussing anything with you reminds me of Socal. Not very bright, trying to discuss concepts he didn't understand, using words he didn't understand and then, when repeatedly proven that his posts were simply stupid, would resort to insulting other posters.

There is NO class war. The rich are exploiting the poor. The poor will do nothing but whine and grab another Bud Light. The rich and powerful will remain so. Workers cogs will remain cogs. You are not talking about WAR; you are talking about EXPLOITATION.

Slightly off the subject of bashing Snub, I'm not surprised that Bernie did well in New Hampshire.

I was a resident of New Hampshire until the time when I no longer had a State of residence in the US.

NH has no state tax, no capital gains tax, no sales tax, no seatbelt law, no helmet law, one of the highest per capita incomes in the US and license plates that read "Live Free Or Die".

Historically, NH residents have championed personal liberty over Federal Government interference in their affairs.

It's also an almost totally white state.

Tailor-made for someone like Bernie to do well.

Let's see how it goes when he gets into some really poor states with large minority populations.

The one point folks like Snub seem to miss while drooling over the marvelous ideas Bernie has is a simple one "Who's going to pay for all these cool programs?"

Never quite seems to get addressed......

    The US is broke now.

The US already does NOT have the money now to pay SS and Medicare for the 100,000 Baby Boomers that are retiring every day.

This is why the US national debt will reach $30 Trillion in less than 10 years. The annual interest on this $30T MUST be paid.

"Free" education must be paid for. "Free" for everyone? Where will the money come from? Tuitions have skyrocketed also, and continue to rise.

IMO, Bernie will get a lot of youth votes, of different ethnicity.

If he does get eleted to potus many of these free programs will not be implemented.

He will aid the regular worker more than the rest however.

Seems to me those on the right have been saying the same thing for years now in regards to the coming "war" (Which is a term used loosely even in sports). IMHO the arrogance of those on the right (mainly tea baggers and evangelicals) underestimates the ability of those on the left to fight back ... and win.

I get paid SS for myself and my dependent kids promptly every month. I don't qualify for Medicare as I live abroad.

With two 16 year olds who will start college in two years or so, sure would be nice, but I'm figuring it will cost we a couple hundred thousand each kid.

    I know.

And, future SS payment WILL be made to the Boomer in the coming years.

    OK. mmmmmm.

Your SS is not the issue.

The SS issue will be those that will be eligible in the coming years (even tomorrow) and Medicare.

First Babers recently started getting on both programs.

As for Uni costs, hundreds of thousands?

Sanders has already said he will raise the maximum amount of pay from which social security can be deducted from the current $118,000 to something over $200,000. That's how he plans to keep social security solvent and pay for increases also. It's been said for years that's all that needs to be done to fix social security.

Also, he has said he will pay for the free college by a tax on Wall Street speculation.

I received my absentee ballot today for the primaries. I will be voting for Bernie Sanders.

Since I don't have a state of residence, yep - out of state tuition.

Hundreds of thousands? Yep. Tuition, dorm, food, books, etc. About $40K per year per kid even in state colleges. If I get out for under 500K, I'll be thankful. But, I've got it put away and the kids start without crippling student loans to repay. Who knows - with financial aid it might be cheaper, but I plan for the worst case.

    You're a good man.

As for "out-of-state" it's ridiculous that ILLegals get in-state tuition.

    Anyway, good on you.

^^I might get out from under the out-of-state after a couple of years once the twins turn 21 and can move off-campus. Depending on the state, I might be able to give them the money for a down payment on a cheap place, use the dorm money I save to have them pay the monthly mortgage, and thus qualify them for in-state for the last year or two as well as giving them a state of residence. That only works, however, if they end up in the same school.

Also as a retiree on a fixed income, it's possible I might be poor enough to qualify for some type of aid. Although I'd bet I end up about $3 above whatever the line is.

Check out the schools in the Dakotas mate like Minot State University. Under $20K per year all in.

Exploitation by one class over another is called Class War, bone head. You're stomping around arguing about trivia as if you had an important point to make, which you never do.
