Tomorrow the US senate will likely vote on whether to de-fund Planned Parenthood. Of course the measure will not pass. Next step will be for the Tea Party wing in the house to attach a de-funding provision to a must-pass federal spending bill thus crippling legislative progress yet again. This is the kind of nonsense that amounts to doing the 'people's work' in Washington with a Republican majority in the house.
