They're focussed on fighting the front end, what they can see, and don't realise that their ideology is out of the box and cannot be shoved back in.

The "idea" of the caliphate is ancient and was once a reality (for many hundreds of years). The bringing it back to life by use of force has been the recent problem, but that realisation (attainment) has now been virtually defeated by military force. The idea will live on. We will have to wait and see if others will try to carve out another physical one somewhere.

Fair comment, to rephrase, Islam's goal (with or without the MB) of a permanent and global caliphate has never diminished over the past hundred years, and having become a partial reality it can only be replaced with new names and faces names but never defeated.

My point was brief, that western leaders are either lazy and/or ignorant, by addressing the front end, that bit they can see, which has zero affect on unchanging core beliefs.

The idea never went away, it was just deemed impractical to resurrect it. There are too many barriers these days for a caliphate to succeed as a "state". The biggest barrier is the system of nation states and the strong desire of those states to remain as states and use deadly force to maintain the status quo. An ideological "caliphate" transcending national boundaries faces the problem of who will be suitable to lead it.

Which core beliefs do you think they should be adressing that they are not adressing?

Come on, Jabir, as an advanced scholar of the faith you should know how the non-believers are being misled and what the secret core beliefs of the global Jihad are?

Can you think of any one or more strong men who could root out this evil which has descended upon civilisation, is there a final solution to the pest which is spreading across our lands?

Better to just arm the extremists of the major sects and let them turn their ire on each other.

    Win-Win.

There is nothing secret about Islam's core values, despite what the perpetual Yerman believes, or the fact that they cannot be changed; if you honesty wish to learn you can start here, and let me know when you're ready for more...

Allegedly Syria and Russia have finally created an escape route from a refugee camp adjacent the ameristani illegal base in southern Syria. The inhabitants are now able to join the free world, if they wish too!

MOSCOW, February 19. /TASS/. Two humanitarian corridors for refugees who wish to leave the Rukban refugee camp are open, the chief of Russia’s National Defense Control Center Mikhail Mizintsev said on Tuesday.

"In accordance with the February 16 joint statement by the Russian and Syrian coordination centers on opening the humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of Syrians from the Rukban camp two checkpoints at Jleb and Jabal al-Ghurab opened today," Mizintsev said.

Earlier it was announced that the checkpoints would operate round the clock. Syrian law-enforcers and Russian military police will maintain security.
Rukban is located in the Al-Tanf security zone, where the US has a military base. Opposition militants have blocked the perimeter in the security zone to the delivery of humanitarian aid from the United Nations and the Syrian government to the camp.

According to the World Health Organization Rukban accommodates about 40,000 poeple, mostly women and children. Several residents of the camp have died due to bad conditions.

Did you misunderstand my question or just try to avoid answering it?

Let me rephrase it for you: Which core beliefs do you want to see changed?

Posting for the sake of it, are you?

Which core beliefs do you want to see changed?
I thought I posted that they cannot be changed, so wtf are you on about unless you know something the world doesn't?

As I recall you needed guidance on what those core values were just a few posts back, so if you followed my link and are now up to date, perhaps you could give me a starter for ten by suggesting which if any you would like changed, and then how you might accomplish that without a head.

No. You're just making shit up.

Let me remind you of what you wrote in your post:

It seemed to me that you were saying that western leaders were addressing the wrong thing ("the front end, that bit they can see") and that you were therefore suggesting they should be focussing on "unchanging core beliefs".

But if that was not your point, what point were you trying to make?

That hurt, not foobar, anything but that per-lease!

No. You're just making shit up.
What did I 'make up'? - that western leaders are addressing just the bit they can see? or that they do so because that's the easier course? or that they are clueless and ignorant, or worse, that they do realise they do not have the will, the means or the resources to change core beliefs which have not changed in 1400 years?

But none of the above should apply, since you kicked off your current effort by confessing ignorance of those very core beliefs. So either you knew or you didn't. If you did know, why fcuk around instead of manning up to directly challenge my statement? And if you didn't know at that time, then I have given you a fine link to brush up.

It seemed to me that you were saying that western leaders were addressing the wrong thing ("the front end, that bit they can see") and that you were therefore suggesting they should be focussing on "unchanging core beliefs".
What do you mean 'therefore I am suggesting'? I suggested nothing of the sort. I made an observation, based on my opinion that any genuine and concerted rather than frivolous politically motivated effort to rid the world of the IS would begin in a back room - not in the field - by understanding what it represents, how it came to be, and why the "core beliefs" of the ideology may allow it to be defeated in the field with a long, long way to defeat, or change, or even scratch the underlying ideology.
