Multiple people have been shot by a gunman at a house party in north Hollywood.


According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, officers responded to a "Multi Patient Incident" at 12.58am local time (9am GMT) at a residence in W Tiara Street.

LAFD said five people sustained gun shot wound injuries while two patients had non-gun shot related injuries.


Seven patients were transported to hospital - five male and two females - with none in a critical condition.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Bellaire and Oxnard st.

All night art festival Trenton NJ gets its name on the list.

At least 22 people, including a 13-year-old boy, were injured in a gun attack at an all-night arts festival in Trenton, in the US state of New Jersey.
Police say at least two men opened fire at around 03:00 local time (07:00 GMT) as 1,000 people were enjoying the local art, music and food.

One of the suspects, a 33-year-old man, was shot dead and another is in custody, a local prosecutor said.


Four of the injured, including the teenager, are in a critical condition.


Police initially put the injured toll at 20 but raised it after two more victims arrived at local hospitals.
The motive for the attack is not yet clear. Several weapons were said to have been found at the scene.

Americans own nearly half of world's guns

Americans make up 4 per cent of the world's population but own about 46 per cent of the estimated 857 million weapons in civilian hands at the end of 2017, a survey shows.
The Small Arms Survey, an independent global research project based in Geneva, Switzerland, found that there were more than a billion firearms in the world, of which civilians owned 85 per cent, while the rest were held by militaries or law enforcement agencies.
The number of guns owned by civilians globally rose to 857 million in 2017 from 650 million in 2006, the survey said.
There were 120 guns for every 100 US residents in 2017, it found, followed by Yemen with nearly 53 firearms per 100 people.

Actually that is not correct. The driver that was shot was not armed. It was a seperate armed citizen who responded after witnessing that who then responded killing the car jacker.

That went down right near our house. My dentist's office is in that building and my wife works across the street. To many nutters with access to guns in the old USofA. This one is a bit close to home.
