A New Jersey man has been arrested and accused of kidnapping and murdering a man trying to buy a PlayStation video game console that was advertised online, according to multiple reports.
Rufus Thompson, 29, was arrested Saturday morning in Trenton. He is charged with murder, felony murder, robbery, kidnapping and weapons offenses in the death of 20-year-old Danny Diaz-Delgado.
The Trentonian reported that Diaz-Delgado's body was found March 24 near the banks of Assunpink Creek in Hamilton Township.
Investigators said Diaz-Delgado's hands were tied behind his back and tape was wrapped around his face.
He had been shot at least seven times in the head, torso and leg.
The Trentonian and NJ.com both reported, citing police sources, that Diaz-Delgado was trying to buy a PlayStation that was advertised on social media when he disappeared.
According to the Trentonian, investigators believe Thompson tortured Diaz-Delgado in an attempt to extract more money from him.
The paper also reported that Diaz-Delgado's bank card was used after he was murdered.
Thompson previously pleaded guilty to burglary charges in connection with two separate crimes, one in 2011 and one in 2013. In 2016, he was sentenced to three years in state prison in connection with those cases. It was not immediately clear whether Thompson was paroled or served his full sentence.

Woman wounds 3 at YouTube headquarters in California before killing herself.
SAN BRUNO, Calif., April 3 (Reuters) - A woman opened fire at YouTube's headquarters near San Francisco on Tuesday, wounding at least three people before taking her own life, as employees of the video website scrambled into the surrounding streets for safety.
Police did not release any further information on the suspect or comment on her possible motives for the shooting rampage at the Silicon Valley offices of YouTube, a service owned by Alphabet Inc's Google.
The shooting had no known connection to terrorism, a U.S. government security official told Reuters.
A YouTube product manager, Todd Sherman, described on Twitter hearing people running, first thinking it was an earthquake before he was told that a person had a gun.
"At that point every new person I saw was a potential shooter. Someone else said that the person shot out the back doors and then shot themselves," Sherman said on Twitter.
"I looked down and saw blood drips on the floor and stairs. Peaked around for threats and then we headed downstairs and out the front," Sherman said.
Responding to the report of gunfire, police officers entered the building and located at least four people with gunshots, San Bruno Police Chief Ed Barberini said at a news conference. One of them, a woman with a self-inflicted wound, was dead, he said, and she was believed to be the shooter.

And herein lies the flaw with the NRA's 'Good Guy With A Gun' narrative...At that point every new person I saw was a potential shooter

Sounds Muslim. Terrorism."The woman who opened fire on three people before killing herself at YouTube's California headquarters has been identified as a frequent user of the site who was furious with the company for their "dictatorial" new policies.

NYPD officer fires 5 shots, killing black man holding object that looked like shower head in Brooklyn
A New York Police Department officer shot a man to death on a Brooklyn street Wednesday afternoon, after they saw him with a metal object that looked like a shower head in his hand, police sources said.
Officers responded to a call about 4:30 p.m. that there was an emotionally disturbed black man believed to be in his mid-30s waving a gun at a local street corner, law enforcement sources said.
Witnesses told cops that he had “something in his jacket,” sources said.
The officer fired approximately five shots, striking the victim multiple times about 4:45 p.m. at the corner in Crown Heights, sources said.
“I heard all these shots, I thought it was firecrackers at first. I turned around and you just see the cops standing over the guy,” witness Chris J. said. “It was at least five shots. First it was one, then it was nonstop after that.”
The witness said a plainclothes officer handcuffed the victim lying motionless on the sidewalk.
“Blood was everywhere,” Chris said. “They put him on his back and they tried to compress his chest but he was gone.”
Chris said he saw no weapon at the scene.
There were at least two plainclothes cops tending to the victim.
Andre Wilson, 38, said he’s known the victim for 20 years, describing him as a quirky neighbourhood character.
“All he did was just walk around the neighbourhood,” he said. “He speaks to himself, usually he has an orange bible or a rosary in his hand. He never had a problem with anyone.”
Wilson said he was shocked that it would come to this.
“The officers from the neighbourhood, they know him. He has no issue with violence. Everybody just knows he’s just mentally challenged. This shouldn’t have happened at all.”
One bullet shattered a window at Chucky Fresh Market.
“There were gunshots, and I just ducked,” said a clerk who declined to identify himself. “A minute later, cops were everywhere.”
After the shooting, an angry crowd formed at the edge of the police tape shouting at police and pointing out the officer they believed to be responsible.
“The whole community came outside,” he added. “People were going crazy. It was a nightmare out there.”
The victim is known in the neighbourhood for being emotionally disturbed. “He’s a little touched in the head,” Chris said. “But he’s not crazy enough to go around hitting people.”
The shooting comes as the nation paused to reflect on the 50th anniversary of the assassination of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

Shower heads, phones, drinks (bottled or canned)... black men should just stop holding stuff if they don't wanna get shot.
or just quit being black in general.
Good point.
Don’t wanna get shot for the offense of being black in a public place (or your car, or your grandmothers backyard, or your own home, or...anywhere)?
Stop being black.
