I don't want crazy people to own firearms but I haven't seen any legislation that wasn't a knee-jerk reaction meant to wear down the 2nd for people that have every right to own firearms*

*and I've seen your meltdowns over the "NRA" and that bill that failed recently, so give it a rest. It was unconstitutional, thats the reason it failed.

Like fuck was it. That's just more of your NRA bullshit.

If that were that case, the Supreme Court could have ruled on it.

Your bozos have the majority, remember?

** I'll remind you to google the meaning of the word "Amendment".
D.C. v Heller, 2008, the Supreme Court has already ruled that the 2nd is an individual right of all Americans.

And you need a little schoolhouse rock refresher, dipshit.

Give it its full name, fuckstick. The 2nd AMENDMENT.

And from McDonald vs Chicago, 2010:

"Alito said the court had made clear in its 2008 decision that it was not casting doubt on such long-standing prohibitions on gun possession by felons and the mentally ill, or keeping firearms out of "sensitive places" such as schools and government buildings.

"We repeat those assurances here," Alito wrote. "Despite municipal respondents' doomsday proclamations, [the decision] does not imperil every law regulating firearms.""

Which was noted in 2008 as well, retard.

Not sure why you can't get it through your ugly misshapen dome that the bill was unconstitutional and like most bills, failed.

It wasn't, as I showed above if you could fucking read, and it took a GOP controlled house to follow their NRA orders and repeal it, moron.

It's why, for example, Maryland's law banning anyone from owning a gun if they've been involuntarily committed to a mental health institution has not been challenged.

You believe anything the NRA tells you, don't you slicky boy?

...if he can rise from the dead, he wouldn't need a gun...Dad would probably endow him with thought-zap authority to rid the earth of non-believers...

Boy, 9, is accidentally shot dead 'by his 10-year-old brother' in New York

A nine-year-old boy was accidentally shot and killed by his older sibling at a home in upstate New York, a witness said.

Syracuse police responded to the home around 2.35am Monday after receiving a report of a shooting.

Responding officers found nine-year-old Shaleek Carrears suffering from a gunshot wound. Officials said Carrears died a short time later after being rushed to the hospital.

Clearly dead kids just aren't cutting it.

Gun control advocates need to re-position guns as some how, some way, being linked to Islam - they'd be banned in an instant.

^ Trying to take my words out of context eh?

    Cool Story.

You should also leave poison, electrical wiring, knives, hot surfaces, medication, and thousands of other items out of reach of children. Even says so on the bottles & shit.

    Sooo yeah. Parenting.

None of which were explicitly designed to kill (apart from poison, which is not classified as a "weapon").

Stupid non sequitur and straight out of the "NRA for dummies" handbook.

Slick and his ilk have special *ahem* logic filters.

Overstate the danger of terrorism and they'll happily clamour for an unconstitutional ban on a whole bunch of people based on their religion.

Thousands of dead kids not so much. They'll drag out the spurious 'it's my constitutional right!' argument and get all non sequiturish with the contrived and erroneous analogies.
