Indeed this subject seems to be Harry's little pet, anyone to come along and disturb his media spoon fed opinions gets both barrels!

Ya really cannot say he's thinking for himself, just a mouthpiece for liberal media.
Funny really, what makes it more hilarious is the there's the Rocky and Peewee follow up frothing a the mouth over firearms. Again simply parroting the liberal media talking points, utterly failing to think for themselves.

They must all be products of current spoon fed liberal education.
All you seem to do Mr. Earl is blow your own very feeble trumpet while trying to be a smartarse.

And you don't seem to be able to read basic English.

So why don't you do yourself a favour and fuck off and let the grown ups continue the conversation?

Or at least read the title of a thread before you decide to offer your mostly irrelevant and drooling opinions.

Trouble with Harry; the elephant is still in the room, but Harry doesn't see it!

    Why you might ask?

Well libtard media hasn't told Harry to see the elephant yet.

Harry only sees what he is told.

The elephant is still there nonetheless!

What is this imaginary elephant and does it actually have anything to do with "Americans getting shot"?

You're clearly missing ear's 'bigger picture' to the 'americans getting shot' thread, which seemingly includes elephants and plastic bags in Ireland, among many other things.

    I wouldn't mind seeing Obama's share portfolio....

132.1: Rise in stock market value of gun-maker Smith & Wesson throughout 2015. The shares of gun-makers Strum Ruger and Vista also performed extraordinarily well last year, rising 72.1 and 29.9 percent, respectively.

Let's see if we can get back to the thread:
Responsible Gun Owner Shoots Himself After ‘Accidentally’ Killing Friend (VIDEO)
AUTHOR: RANDA MORRIS JANUARY 21, 2016 11:35 AM
On the night of January 7, 2016, “responsible gun owner” Justin Lowrie decided to skip the AA meeting he was scheduled to attend, so he could get drunk with friends.

According to the Leader-Telegram, Lowrie was “experienced with firearms.” The 32-year-old alcoholic had been given a concealed carry permit by the state of Wisconsin two months before. The permit made it perfectly legal for Lowrie to take his 9 mm handgun to a drinking party.

Around 10:30 pm, as the party was winding down, Lowrie and a group of friends were gathered in an apartment building in Rice Lake. He was holding his handgun.

Two friends, Laura Polichnia and Cheri Fullarton, were standing “arm-in-arm” nearby. That’s when Lowrie “accidentally” shot Fullarton in the face, killing her.

Melissa Leland, a resident of the apartment building where the shooting took place, described the scene to WQOW.

“We heard a gunshot and all of a sudden people just started screaming and crying and after a couple of minutes went by, I went out of my apartment and checked to see what the heck was going on. One of my neighbors just came running at me crying, ‘He shot her. He shot her.'”

Someone from the apartment complex called 911. Before authorities arrived at the scene, Lowrie left the apartment where the group had been gathered. He returned to his own apartment, located two doors away from the apartment where Fullarton was shot.

That’s where he put the gun to his own head, pulling the trigger and ending his own life in a moment of drunken despair.

The Leader-Telegram describes Lowrie as “a man with a troubled past and a drinking problem.” During an interview here, Lowrie’s father said his son had been “troubled” due to his wife leaving him and his mother dying of cancer in 2014.

The NRA says that everyone has the right to own a gun, regardless of mental and emotional health. Any attempt to prevent a tragedy like this is portrayed as an evil liberal plot to take their guns away and put them in FEMA camps or something equally as ignorant.

Cheri Fullarton was a 37-year-old mother of three.

During an interview with the Leader-Telegram, her brother, Roger Miller, said the family is struggling to deal with the loss. “We try and remember how she loved her children, was pretty and intelligent,” he said.

“We’re just mad as hell about how he was screwing around with a gun, even if he thought it was unloaded.”

Lowrie’s distraught father told the Leader-Telegram,

“All I know is that Justin made the choices that he did in a drunken state and he’s not here for me to ask why.”

During the same interview, Justin Lowrie’s dad also said,

“I believe the Lord is going to save other people through this. We all wish he could take it back, but he can’t; we don’t get do-overs, but we can acknowledge the things that have happened and learn from them — to make better choices. Maybe this will change someone else’s life.”

Doddery old fools should not have access to firearms.

    OAK HILL --
A hunter accidentally shot and killed his friend Wednesday afternoon in a wooded area of Oak Hill, Volusia County deputies say.

The sheriff's office said it happened at about 2:11 p.m. in a wooded, swampy area west of Interstate 95 and north of Maytown Road.

Bruce Best, 65, was accidentally shot by Leeshawn Sutton, 56, with a 12-gauge shotgun, deputies said.

Ed Tyler has owned property inside the Oak Hill hunting camps off Maytown Road, just west of I-95 for 25 years.
“I didn’t really hunt with Bruce but I knew him well. He’s been down to my cabin many, many times. He was just one of the old timers, lived in the woods. He was a woodsmen," said Tyler.

The shooting took place about three miles off the road in a wooded, swampy area, which created a challenge for responding deputies.

"Our Air 1 helicopter guided them to the scene. We discovered the victim was deceased and we’re out investigating now to determine what exactly happened and how it occurred, but right now it looks like it was an accident," said Volusia County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Andrew Gant.

A different property owner said a small group of people were hunting deer when the deadly accident took place.

In fact, they had been hunting all week because deer season ends on Sunday.

In the quiet of the woods, hunters tell me wearing orange is sometimes your only protection.

“Most of the time people wear it anyway. They’ll put an orange cap or something on just to be sure they’re seen," Tyler said.

The Sheriff's Office's Major Case Unit is investigating, with assistance from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Father and son die in shootout at Pearl River County gun shop

JEREMY PITTARI/PICAYUNE ITEM Pearl River County deputies who responded to a report of a shooting at this gun shop on Mississippi 43 found the store owner and his son dead in the store. Two customers, also a father and son, were shot and wounded.

PICAYUNE -- A father and son were killed in a shootout with another man and his son at a gun store Saturday in Pearl River County's Henleyfield community.

Pearl River County deputies responding to the shooting on Mississippi 43 about 3:15 p.m. found the store owner and his son dead in the store, Chief Deputy Shane Tucker said.

The owner's wife was working at the store when two customers, a man and his son, entered to pick up a firearm that had been repaired.

"There was some contention about a $25 fee," Tucker said.

In an attempt to clear up the dispute, the woman called her husband, who later arrived with his son. An argument ensued between the owners and the customers.

"During this argument, we believe there might have been some pushing and shoving," Tucker said. "One of the customers and one of the owners produced firearms. We don't know who shot first."

All four men were shot. The two customers were airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, Tucker said.

By Sunday morning, the son in hospital ICU was in stable condition, he said.

The wife of the owner was not wounded.

Investigators are trying to determine how the situation unfolded before any charges are filed, Sheriff David Allison said.

And here's the difference between the good ole USofA and normal countries/societies - elsewhere a punch or two may have been thrown . . . end of story.

Sheriff: Good Samaritan shot, killed by drunk driver he tried to help

    http://www.wcnc.com/story/news/crime...iver/79209052/

"The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office says a 27-year-old Good Samaritan was shot and killed yesterday by a man he stopped to help.

The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Jefferson Heavner of Newton.

Investigators say the suspect, Marvin Jacob Lee, has been charged with first-degree murder and will appear in a Catawba County court on Monday. The sheriff’s office says Lee was drunk when he ran his vehicle off the side of Mathis Church Road during the snowstorm on Friday afternoon.

A group of people stopped to help Lee, including Heavner.

Investigators say that when Lee became aware that Heavner was going to call police for help, Lee got out of his vehicle and fired his gun, killing Heavner. Lee then got back in his vehicle and a standoff ensued until a SWAT team finally got Lee out of the truck and arrested him.

Saturday, the shooting was the talk of a gas station near Mathis Church Road.

“You try to help people,” said Dana Taylor, who lives near where the shooting occurred. “It’s scary to think when you do, something like that could happen.”

Joey Williams, who also lives close by, said Heavner was well thought of in the community.

“Nobody talked bad about him. It’s what we do around here if we see somebody in trouble. We will stop and help them,” said Williams.

Several family members of Heavner gathered at a home in Newton, but they said they were too upset to answer any questions about the victim".

Kalamazoo, Michigan: Six shot dead in 'random' attacks

At least six people have been killed in the US in a series of apparently random shootings in the Michigan city of Kalamazoo, police said.

Four people were killed at a restaurant and two at a car dealership. A 14-year-old girl was also "gravely injured".

The attacks are being linked to an earlier shooting at a car park, which left one woman seriously injured.

A manhunt was launched, which ended with 45-year-old local man Jason Dalton being taken into custody.

The suspect did not resist when approached by officers, and weapons were found in his car, police said.

Local police released this mugshot of the suspect, 45-year-old local man Jason Dalton

The shootings took place on Saturday evening at three locations - outside a Cracker Barrel restaurant, a Kia car dealership and a block of flats.
    • Police were first called to a Kalamazoo residential building on Saturday evening where a woman was shot multiple times - reportedly in front of her children - and was taken to hospital in a serious condition
    • Hours later, officers were called to the car dealership where two people were shot and killed, and a third wounded, Mr Matyas said. The two killed are believed to have been father and son
    • The third shooting in the car park of a Cracker Barrel restaurant saw the gunman open fire on people in their cars. Four were killed
Gunfire was also reported at a fourth location near the restaurant soon after.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

    Michigan gun-nuts are famous . . .

I drove through Kalamazoo several times between Chicago and Detroit . . . pleasant enough place.

One thing - well, one of the many things - I can't fathom is how someone can simply go around killing complete strangers who have not provided any stimulus for violence against them.
