You are completely insane Bert. Like the English Slave Traders were interested in the Market of cotton? More B.S. trying to deflect the facts again. You went to school where? Right Liberal tech... strike three you're out!

It's so odd how the Confederate flag waivers are blaming the left for the demise of their worthless piece of cloth, instead of blaming this guy. Says a lot about them, doesn't it?

Just for you Bert; Broad brush you use to paint all in your post as "racist," due to their apparel choices. You should do some introspection on racism...you need to find out your racist character.

England had factories which produced cloth and clothing. The Southern cotton producing states supplied the raw material. Look it up. I have a minor in US history from the University of Wisconsin.

The flag didn't pull the trigger. As for blame...got no place in this issue...he's a murderer and will go to prison and possibly be given the death sentence for his crimes. As for removal of a flag in this over the top excuse for long standing personal issues by the left...eh, get a life.

Yes Bert but the slave trade was brought to Americas by the English and the Union Jack was their standard. Please get some help. You want to be an apologist for English Slave Traders now it appears? Nut job you are for sure.

Have no idea what you're on about. I have made no such assertion. The English ended the Slave trade at the beginning of the eighteenth century but they bought agricultural products from countries in the Americas where slavery was legal thereby taking advantage of the cheap cost of production.

No, remember, Obama has done his bit this week inflaming the 'issue' when he used the N word.

I would bet that there were quite a few supporters of that flag who used the same word in the past week, but they weren't inflaming the issue were they? Everything's Obama's fault.

If you had to ban every flag for the crime commited under it than we could kiss a ton of the worlds flags goodbye.

This is about what that flag represents today in America. Not what happened hundreds of years ago. It is a symbol of hate plain and simple.

Fly it all you want on your truck or at your house but keep it off public buildings.

13 Items Amazon Isn’t Taking Down With The Confederate Flag

Actually, all 13 items are stand-alone items of poor taste but this one is my personal favorite:

    7. An iPhone case showing Piss Christ, a piece of art consisting of a crucifix in a jar of urine.

The Confederate Flag isn't used to kill people either - just a symbol of the South.

...got any comment on the Nazi Deaths Head symbol they have for sale?

You cite the origin of the slaves and the progressives decide it was a "business venture." Now that's funny.

You also point out the origin of the Confederate flag as the Union Jack, and the progressives state, all flags have some form of notoriety, but the Confederate flag is racist.

England is the Godfather of slavery and they get a "pass," from the progressives.

I wonder why blacks are not trying to get renumeration from England based on the history of slavery and its origin in the Americas? England gets a "pass again."

12,000,000 slaves gathered by England, transported in a living hell, those that lived were shackled and chained together for life. Not one response that takes issue with Englands participation in this part of history.

    Absolutely astounding!

Of course, can't have halfwits like ltnt burdened with knowing their country isn't ideal - despite wanting to run away because it's turning 'socialist' . . .
Let's talk Vietnam and dousing the population with agent orange . . . horribly disfiguring generations of Vietnamese . . . killing hundreds of thousands. Form is there, of course . . . but the old fella calls it a 'disease'

Doesn't help anybody, but the effects of Agent Orange were unknown at the time. Thousands of Americans were doused with it as well, including me. My best friend from HS was a chopper crew chief, he would come back from 'defoliant' missions dripping in the shit. My LRRP team would move through recently sprayed areas where the crap would just be raining down on us through the jungle foliage.

Good to see the Daily Caller is putting the Stars 'n' Bars in its rightful place, where it belongs. Nazi regalia, flags of defunct racist states, icons of murderous dictatorships, and the Jim Crow symbol of the vilest system of slavery the world has ever seen, all belonging together as symbols of evil. Good for the Daily Caller and pretty damn brave of them considering most of their readers are redneck bigots!

England, coming to the realisation that slavery was an abomination, abolished slavery in its own territory and then warred on slavers on the high seas. There has never been any celebration of Slavery in Great Britain and you would be hard put to find a single person who believed that slavery was worth celebrating or commemorating. To compare idiot rednecks who flaunt a symbol of degradation and evil with a nation which abolished slavery as an abomination and an affront to all decency is idiotic. Speaking of idiotic, I see that some here have been claiming that the Civil War was nothing to do with slavery. Anybody got any idea what this particular quote is from?

We hold as undeniable truths that the governments of the various States, and of the confederacy itself, were established exclusively by the white race, for themselves and their posterity; that the African race had no agency in their establishment; that they were rightfully held and regarded as an inferior and dependent race, and in that condition only could their existence in this country be rendered beneficial or tolerable.

That in this free government all white men are and of right ought to be entitled to equal civil and political rights; that the servitude of the African race, as existing in these States, is mutually beneficial to both bond and free, and is abundantly authorized and justified by the experience of mankind, and the revealed will of the Almighty Creator, as recognized by all Christian nations; while the destruction of the existing relations between the two races, as advocated by our sectional enemies, would bring inevitable calamities upon both and desolation upon the fifteen slave-holding states.

You're quote in bold is very calculated.

You do not understand the term "redneck."
