The USA is buying Russian gas there is no doubt about that it is clearly spelt out in the two links I posted and a couple of pages more where those came from. This is a definite breach of their own sanctions against trade with Russia.

You are fooling no one but yourself Harry attempting to deny the obvious. Your deep love for America and unreasoned hate for Russia has addled your mind to the stage where you will not accept the truth, try to get over it.

Putin Discusses the Korea Settlement in China Media Group Interview

"June 6, 2018 (EIRNS)—In a wide-ranging interview today with the China Media Group ahead of his official visit to China, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the settlement on the Korean Peninsula must include guarantees of North Korea’s security, while he offered Russia’s help in joint infrastructure and economic projects between North Korea and South Korea.

“We will be waiting for the outcome of the meeting between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and will contribute to the success of this meeting in every possible way,” Putin said, reported TASS.

Putin will make his visit when he goes to attend the June 8-10 Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Qingdao.
“The next stage is multilateral participation of all the interested states, chiefly regional ones, in the development of security guarantees” for North Korea, Putin said. He affirmed that Moscow’s proposals—“trilateral economic projects between Russia and the northern and southern parts of the Korean Peninsula”—will be on the table.

“These are chiefly infrastructural projects. We are talking about the construction of a railroad, let’s say (and, by the way, China could join these projects as well), between Russia and North and South Korea. We are talking about the installation of a gas pipeline,”

    the Russian President elaborated.

“The construction of various other energy facilities could be dwelt on as well. There are numerous prospects for joint work both in the three- and four-party format; it is just necessary to move in this direction,”

    the Russian leader affirmed.

Putin also expressed hope that the June 12 meeting between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un would be a success:

“I do hope that the courageous and mature decision to hold a personal meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un that U.S. President Trump made ... that the meeting will take place, we all will be waiting for it to produce positive results....

“We can see that the North Korean leadership has taken unprecedented steps to ease tensions, which frankly speaking, surprised me,”

he said. “First, they announced the suspension of nuclear tests. Moreover, they dismantled one of their largest nuclear test sites.” In his view, “these undoubtedly were practical steps towards denuclearization.”

He continued: “I can understand the North Korean authorities when they say that total denuclearization requires absolute security guarantees,” and that

“nothing else is possible, particularly in light of the tragic events that took place in Libya and Iraq. The North Koreans must remember it all vividly, so it is only natural that they demand guarantees,”

    Putin stressed, stating that

“it is hard to say at the moment what form these guarantees may take and how long it will take to implement all this.

“However, it is possible to say—and it should be said—that there is a need to move forward along this path leading to easing of tensions and denuclearization.”

Referencing Russia and China’s role in resolving peace on the Korean Peninsula, he said:

“We initiated the so-called road map to resolve the situation on the Korean Peninsula. China has done a lot recently to achieve this goal, to ease tensions a little. We are pleased to see it and will continue to support it in every possible way.”

The Russian-Chinese road map “implies that at the next stage relations between all the countries responsible for easing tensions should be enhanced,” he said"

Chinese President Xi Jinping awarded the first Friendship Medal of the People's Republic of China to Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Friday afternoon.

Analysts said that the medal represents the Chinese people's admiration and appreciation for Putin's contribution to promoting China-Russia ties to the highest level.

"This is the first time for China to award a foreign leader a friendship medal since the medal was set up in January 2016, which reveals that China attaches great importance to the China-Russia ties," Li Guofu, a research fellow at the China Institute of International Studies in Beijing, told the Global Times on Friday.

Li said that leaders of the two countries have developed a personal friendship.

According to China's law on national medals and honorary titles, friendship medals, one of the highest state honors, are to be presented to foreigners who have made outstanding contributions to China's socialist modernization drive, promoted exchange and cooperation between China and the world, and safeguarded world peace.

"Putin deserves the medal. For the past 18 years, he has played an active role in promoting China-Russia ties," Wang Lijiu, an expert of Russian studies at the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, told the Global Times.

"China and Russia have developed a comprehensive strategic partnership during Putin's tenure. The quality of the bilateral ties has been enhanced," Wang said.

In July 2017, Putin awarded Xi the Order of St. Andrew for his distinguished service to the peoples of China and Russia. The Order of St. Andrew, the Apostle of the First-Called, is the highest order of Russia and is awarded for outstanding service to the state, Russia News Agency TASS reported.

China and Russia have enjoyed the best friendship and their friendly ties have set an example to the international community. Future bilateral cooperation may focus on comprehensively supporting each other, especially on the economy, and it will help promote the middle region of Europe, Wang said.

Xi and Putin on Friday also agreed to promote greater development of China-Russia relations at a high level, the Xinhua News Agency reported.

The two leaders agreed that China and Russia should adhere to the concept of everlasting friendship and the spirit of strategic coordination, and expand and deepen cooperation in all areas.

Xi described the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination as "mature, stable and solid," Xinhua reported."

^Asians do love their gold and gaudy colours. All solid gold no doubt. helps when they retire. Some of them are for standing for hours on the DMZ line. Others sales bonuses when a missile system or nuke is sold eh. That takes courage, planning, cultivation, ingenuity and logistics.

Still no comparison the the wealth, ameristani Presidents, PMs + spouses + children + squeezes, seem to acquire during a 4 or 8 year period.

But that's part of the international laws, rules based, civilised, western systems .

Kremlin on Trump's Call for Russia's G8 Return: We Are Focused on Other Formats

"The summit will officially start Friday in the Canadian province of Quebec and run until Saturday. US President Trump is expected to leave the summit early to fly to Singapore, skipping the climate session. Russia announced its permanent withdrawal from the G8 in 2017; the group was thereafter renamed the G7.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitriy Peskov responded to Trump's remark, concerning Moscow's participation in the G7 meeting, set to kick off on Friday:

"Russia is focused on other formats, apart from the G7," the spokesman stated, referring to formats for interaction between governments such as the G7 forum and BRICS.

The comment followed US President Donald Trump's statement, made earlier on Friday, on his way to the meeting in Canada:

"Why are we having a meeting without Russia? I would recommend, and it is up to them, but Russia should be at the meeting," President Trump said of the G7 summit. "They should let Russia come back in because we should have Russia at the negotiating table," Trump noted.
Russia was part of the group until 2014 — then referred to as the G8 — when the seven states boycotted the summit in Sochi and suspended Russia's participation in future meetings citing disagreements over the Ukrainian crisis.

    Response From G7 Members

Other G7 members have expressed the mixed reaction to the Trump's call: while Canada opposed it, Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister Theresa May and new Italian premier Giuseppe Conte welcomed the move, with the latter saying that "it's in everyone's interest".

Later in the day, some UK government sources told Reuters that Moscow should change its approach before any conversations on Russia's rejoining the G8 might take place, explaining "we should remind ourselves why the G8 became the G7".

"The common European position is against the return of Russia," a senior aide to Macron told reporters, although the leaders did leave open "the possibility of establishing a dialogue" with Moscow.

The reaction of EU Top Officials

The European Union's officials have demonstrated a lot approach to the Trump's motion: EU Commision Head Jean-Claude Juncker stated that the G7 group planned to maintain relations with Moscow and the relevant topic to be discussed at their meeting, while the EU Council Chief Donald Tusk insisted that the G7 should remain unchanged.

"This morning I had the first and very good, promising meeting with Italy's Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and I am convinced that here at the G7 we will have a fully united European position on all issues. Including on Russia. I am not talking about details but about the more general common line," Tusk noted.

Commenting on the sidelines of the G7, German Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters on Friday that it was too early to state whether leaders would issue a common communique, adding that if they failed to do so it would be an acknowledgement that no agreement had been reached.

Trump's Expectations From the G7 Meeting

Ahead of the meeting, Trump revealed that he expected trade tensions to ratchet higher amid the continuous disputes over Washington's tariffs on steel and aluminum.

The US president took to Twitter to express his expectations from the meeting, as well as to re-state his criticism of US trade allies."

Cutting out the US dollar: Russia & China boost national currencies trade
    Published time: 9 Jun, 2018

Moscow and Beijing have agreed to raise the share of ruble-yuan trade settlements, in a joint agreement signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Friday.
The document envisages “further strengthening of the Russian-Chinese cooperation in the financial sector, promoting increase of the share of national currencies in trade payments, investments and financing, expanding collaboration in such fields as payment systems and insurance.”

The two leaders agreed to raise trade turnover and further improvement of its structure, searching for new growth areas and collaboration in trade and economic cooperation. President Putin said Russia-China trade turnover could hit $100 billion by the end of this year.

China is Russia’s largest trading partner, accounting for 15 percent of Russian international trade last year. Bilateral trade increased by 31.5 percent in 2017, reaching $87 billion.

As trade grows, the two countries are promoting settlements in ruble and yuan, bypassing the US dollar and other Western currencies.

According to the Russian Central Bank, both Russian and Chinese companies are willing to pay in ruble and renminbi, and this can be proven by real numbers. Last year, nine percent of payments for supplies from Russia to China were made in rubles, the regulator told RT. Russian companies paid for 15 percent of Chinese imports in the renminbi. Just three years ago, the numbers were two and nine percent, respectively.

Dirty Russians, that will teach them.

The United States Treasury Department imposed sanctions on five Russian companies and three individuals for allegedly supporting the country's military and intelligence services to conduct cyber attacks againt the U.S and its allies.

“The United States is engaged in an ongoing effort to counter malicious actors working at the behest of the Russian Federation and its military and intelligence units to increase Russia’s offensive cyber capabilities,” Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said in a statement.

“The entities designated today have directly contributed to improving Russia’s cyber and underwater capabilities through their work with the FSB [Federal Security Service] and therefore jeopardize the safety and security of the United States and our allies,” Mnuchin said.

The companies and individuals who are facing sanctions will be banned from any kind of transactions involving the US financial system.

This decision is aftermath reaction of many Russia-based cyberattacks that had hit the country, and the world worst. It is believed that Russian hackers were behind the VPNFilter malware that infected more than half a million routers worldwide, power outages in Ukraine and a ransomware attack that the US government called the "most destructive cyberattack in history."

The three cybersecurity companies which have been sanctioned include Kvant Scientific Research Institute, Divetechnoservices (provides underwater equipment and diving systems to Russian agencies), Digital Security, ERPScan and Embedi. However, the latter two are not based in Russia, but, the department said they're owned by Russia-based Digital Security.

Embedi's marketing head, Alex Kruglov, said they are unsure why their company was added in list sanctioned list, and denied working for the Russian government.

"We never worked with Russian government and any government at all," Kruglov said in an email. He said the company isn't clear on what they'll do in their next steps.

The three Russians who worked with Divetechnoservices have also been sanctioned: Aleksandr Lvovich Tribun, Oleg Sergeyevich Chirikov and Vladimir Yakovlevich Kaganskiy.

“Today’s action also targets the Russian government’s underwater capabilities,”Mnuchin said. “Russia has been active in tracking undersea communication cables, which carry the bulk of the world’s telecommunications data.”

An opinion piece on the SCO v G6+1 meetings.

Putin and Xi top the G6+1

    One point:

"Meanwhile, over in Qingdao, the stunning takeaway was offered predictably by Chinese President Xi Jinping; “President Putin and I both think that the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership is mature, firm and stable.”
This is a massive game-changer because officially, so far, this was a “comprehensive partnership.” It’s the first time on record that Xi has put the stress on “strategic”. Again, in his own words: “It is the highest-level, most profound and strategically most significant relationship between major countries in the world.”
