    This is what you get:

US leaves ‘unreliable’ British out in the cold.

“British military chiefs are being ejected from US meetings about Syria in the first direct consequence of David Cameron’s refusal to join military action. The role of senior British officers based at US Central Command in Tampa, Florida, has been downgraded because they cannot be trusted with high-level intelligence about a conflict with which they are no longer involved, military sources say.”

    Real classy, huh?

Heh...Here's Some Of The Best Tweets Generated By The Kerry-Hagel Buttfumble Briefing On Syria!

Ross . @indyrallen It turns out that John Kerry met with Bashar Assad more often than Barack Obama met with his Jobs Council. http://tinyurl.com/cruy6ym
    10:10 PM - 3 Sep 2013

Erick Erickson @EWErickson Terrorism at Ft. Hood was "workplace violence" and blowing up Syria is not an act of war. Words do mean things.

um RT @EvanMcSan: PICTURE of McCain playing poker during Syria hearing is up

Dan Curry @dancurry Kerry said airstrikes are not war. The men buried in the USS Arizona disagree.

Kathleen McKinley @KatMcKinley I think those WMD's Kerry says were not in Iraq, are the same ones he is going after now. #TheIrony

    Yes he does.

The simple fact is that the British have no need to be in those meetings since they will not be involved in the conflict. The have no "need to know" any longer. Just routine operating procedure.

^ indeed, the Obama administration has proved to be quite hypocrite,

while the GW Bush administration was made of fools,

not sure if it's progress, maybe in a way it is.

Mr Putin said Russia did not rule out supporting a UN Security Council resolution authorising force, if it was proved "beyond doubt" that the Syrian government used chemical weapons.

If its not true, then how are we to believe you? Do you have a thread that opposes this article? Proofs in the pudding...

For the sake of controversy, why does anyone care what happens in Syria? More people die from diseases, car wrecks, natural catastrophe's, murder, on birth in one day than died in this event? Nobody seems to want to wage war over stupidity, lack of medical help, criminal elements and lastly radio active waste water draining into the oceans food chain from Fukishima Power Plant?

I mean like get a reality check here folks. Killing is a the way to "0" population growth. If you die from chemical weapons is it more lethal than say dieing from a 500 pound block buster?

All those for no intervention please raise your hands in agreement! let the dieing continue...

Because it's (a) from The Times, which like all Murdoch publications is now nothing but sensationalist drivel, and (b) there is not a single attributable source in it.

You can be absolutely certain the US will be sharing details of their attack with the Brits.

These fucking tabloid reporters need a kicking for making this shit up.

The Picture That John Kerry Really Doesn’t Want You To See

    A cozy dinner for four

At the moment, US Secretary of State John Kerry has nothing but threats and ire for Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. But it wasn’t all that long ago that Kerry, Assad and their wives were huddled together and sharing an intimate dinner for four.

Smiles all around as John Kerry, Assad and their wives get cozy for a nice, long dinner in 2009

The picture that nobody wants you to see- some thoroughly modern people, just like you and I, educated in our society, at home in it. Both of them earned good money on ole' London town.

Now being persecuted, because we just want to escalate the squabble with Iran. In the process, we condone and encorage the bombing and maiming of the people in Syria that share our essential values. Fekking animals- we are no better than Al Qaeda. Enjoy your friendship.

Believe me, it will turn around and bite you in the bum. Don't expect sympathy.

Do not expect sympathy, when this turns around and bites you in the bum (again). Al Qaeda our friends, bullshit.

Two friends of mine died in 911, I will have you know. The yanks hired my colleagues in the Australian armed forces to fight these animals, I will have you know. Or so we thought. I'd rather fight for the Chinese now.

Some good news too, Sweden announced today that it will accept every Syrian refugee who makes it to their borders. Wake up Boon Mee, in due time you can ramp up your propaganda on how much mischief they cause in Sweden, and as always omit what caused them to go there. Doesn't matter, it's the right thing to do. Germany takes 5,000 and the right wing staged protests against it, how pathetic.

Sweden already has enough immigrants, and particular muslim immigrants.

I am asking an honest question: are neighboring middle eastern countries helping refugees with food and shelter and support?

    I hope so.
