Republicans Question Whether Obama Could Handle Actual Scandal
WASHINGTON —President Obama’s handling of controversies about the I.R.S., the Justice Department, and Benghazi has raised “grave doubts” about his ability to cope if he ever became involved in an actual scandal, prominent Republicans said today.
“If this is how he handles this stuff, Lord have mercy on him if he ever has to deal with a real scandal,” said newly elected Rep. Mark Sanford (R-S. Carolina). “Quite frankly, I don’t think he has what it takes.”
“The true test of a leader is this,” Rep. Sanford added. “When he gets in a fix, does he have the presence of mind to lie about his whereabouts? Sadly, I don’t think President Obama passes that test.”
Mr. Sanford’s concerns mirror those of another leading Republican lawmaker, Sen. David Vitter (R-Louisiana).
“If President Obama honestly thinks he’s dealing with scandals right now, I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know what a scandal is,” Sen. Vitter said. “And that’s very worrisome.”
“When you get that three A.M. phone call, and it’s a reporter claiming that a prostitute said you like to dress up in a diaper, are you prepared for that call?” Sen. Vitter said. “In the case of President Obama, I am afraid that the answer is no.”
You don't read so good do you bro?
"Most liberal or clearly nonpartisan organizations McClatchy contacted say they were subjected to scrutiny but accepted it as part of the process."
"Any argument that only conservatives got tough scrutiny, though, is countered somewhat by the saga of Emerge America. It always was upfront about its mission – to train Democratic women to run for office – but it says it doesn’t get involved directly in the election process."
Just more Republican political theater and scandal mongering. Yawn
"A second federal agency is facing a probe and accusations of political bias over its alleged targeting of conservative groups.
The allegations concern the Environmental Protection Agency, which is being accused of trying to charge conservative groups fees while largely exempting liberal groups. The fees applied to Freedom of Information Act requests—allegedly, the EPA waived them for liberal groups far more often than it did for conservative ones.
The allegations are under investigation by the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is also holding hearings on the Internal Revenue Service targeting of conservative groups.
“I don’t think it is fair at all. It is not fair to the American taxpayer—the American taxpayer should expect and demand that the EPA treats everyone equally in regard to these requests,” said Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Tim Murphy, a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee. “This cannot be tolerated. As we see more federal agencies with this kind of bias, it is and should be a concern for all of us.”
Research by the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), a conservative Washington, D.C., think tank, claims that the political bias is routine when it comes to deciding which groups are charged fees. Christopher Horner, senior fellow at CEI, said liberal groups have their fees for documents waived about 90 percent of the time, in contrast with conservative groups that it claims are denied fee waivers about 90 percent of the time."
Scandal After Scandal. How Many More Will Come Out Over The Next 3.5 Years?
A Deplorable Bitter Clinger
“I don’t think it is fair at all” cried Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Tim Murphy.
Cry me a river
What's this? The Environmental PROTECTION Agency favors organizations that protect the environment?! Shocking! Outrageous!

GOP to Darrell Issa: Cool it
Issa’s behavior came up at meetings of GOP leaders several times this week, according to sources involved. The first time complaints surfaced — and where the frustration with Issa was most clearly expressed — was in a small Monday meeting of the House GOP leadership.
Since then, Issa has not appeared on television — a development Republican leadership has welcomed.
“He has made this personal,” one senior Republican told POLITICO. “He’s added an unnecessary element to the news cycle.”
“When you make Jay Carney the issue, that’s the problem,” said another senior House GOP leadership aide.

Powerful speech illustrating the arrogant, corrupt mindset that prevails in Washington DC:
Rep. Trey Gowdy: IRS Has Moral, Character Problems - YouTube
"Representative Trey Gowdy gives a passionate opening statement at the House Oversight Committee Hearing on excessive conference spending by the IRS. He states that the institution has a character problem that isn't going to be "solved with another webinar" and that it may be time to "start over."
"Passionate and fierce. Rep. Gowdy (R-S.C.) spoke for all Americans. Rep. Gowdy spoke For the Women in the real way, not the Obama way. Rep. Gowdy cares for the most vulnerable in the real way. Rep. Gowdy delivered a boom-worthy statement blasting the IRS that will be, and should be, remembered for a long time to come. Everyone in America needs to see this indeed."

And, that's not being cynical...
I was especially impressed by the squirting fish all the IRS people got in their conference packs. Squirting fish are an important part of training in the world of taxation; as is line dancing and learning from Star Trek.
I wonder if Obama has a squirting fish? Seems like a very useful thing to have for a President too.....
Not politically motivated you say?
Whether they are trying to stay solvent by getting tax exempt status or just hold a rally, the liberal bureaucracy cracks down hard on advocates of limited government. In contrast, favored groups get very different treatment:
As the IRS attacked Tea Party groups, it left hundreds of leftist activist groups alone. A quick review of just eight of those leftist, tax-exempt activist groups demonstrates the IRS’s hypocrisy. The eight glaring examples of left-wing favoritism are:
• Americans United for Change
• Ruckus Society
• Women’s Action for New Directions
• New World Foundation
• Fierce
• Black Alliance for Just Immigration
• Brennan Center for Justice
• Voto Latino
All are obviously political, all are hard left, all were granted the tax exempt 501(c)3 status Tea Party groups are denied.
Goodness me, next you'll even be saying the Factcheckers are biased.

That's right, how can one forget!
In a Libs world, up is down, freedom is slavery & ignorance is strength.
So, in your case Tony, you must be a real strong MoFo!
has anyone produced any credible evidence linking this story to the WH?
didn't think so.
here's how this plays out....the GOP house wastes millions on investigations that turn up nothing, while the WH deals with adults in house and senate to pass meaningful tax reform legislation.
obama wins again.
