Really? Somehow if they are granted tax exempt status under IRS rules for 501(c)4 groups which prohibit political activities their first amendment rights are being infringed upon if they cannot engage in political activities? Maybe they should be paying taxes doncha think?

Like various offshoots of Moveon.org or Media Matters don't pay tax on their activities?

Anyhow some of these crimes the IRS has been committing are big-time felonies:

"The chairman of an anti-gay marriage group testified Tuesday that his organization has proof that the IRS leaked confidential donor details last year, calling for prosecution into what he described as a “felony.” ”

...it’s a 6103 violation and a five- year felony for whoever made the disclosure. If I were that person right now, I’d be a) sweating bullets, lawyering up (and possibly taking Five to Congress) and b) wanting to play Let’s Make a Deal for the name behind door number 1."

More propaganda from Fox "news" eh?

Why not take a look at the FACTS instead of the spin, eh Booners?

Media Matters is a tax exempt charitable 501(c) organizations but it does NOT engage in political campaign activism. If it did, it would be breaking the law

MoveOn family is made up of a couple of different pieces. MoveOn.org Civic Action, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, focuses on education and advocacy, as well as on building the progressive movement by encouraging and supporting the development of more grassroots leaders.

MoveOn.org Political Action, a federal PAC, is focused on demonstrating MoveOn members' power at the ballot box and electing candidates who reflect our members' values.

Sounds like McDermott’s blaming conservative groups for the IRS scandal.

How about this example of how corrupt the IRS has become under Obama:

2010 IRS conference featured ‘happiness expert,’ $17K art session.

“One of the speakers received a $25,000 fee in addition to a $2,500 first-class airline ticket to fly the speaker to the conference, according to the report. The contracts for the presenters were awarded as sole source contracts, meaning no competition occurred, and taxpayers cannot be assured to have received the best price for the speakers.”

Let's face it, the IRS is never going to win a popularity contest, but the Tea Baggers notion that there's some grand conspiracy that the White House ordered the IRS to go after political opponents it pure fantasy.

I've always been a huge Jon Stewart fan- his roasting of the IRS in this video is pretty hilarious-

Too much evidence points in that direction already and if you continue to keep you head in the sand about this scandal, that mess of egg on your face will look even worse.

As far as nailing Obama specifically? Probably won't happen although before it's all over, heads will roll.

So when you are proven wrong again like so many other times will you feel compelled to flounce once again? Remember the election in November that resulted in you doing an almost two month flounce?

Evidence linking the White House to the IRS targeting of both liberal and conservative 501(c) non profit social charities? Haven't seen any evidence yet. Where do you imagine it might be hiding?

    Check out this Stonewall:

IRS refuses to turn over documents on targeting to Senate.

    Pretty heavy...coupled with another Scandal:

    EPA Targeted Conservative Groups.

“The EPA is not preventing groups from becoming tax exempt, but charging conservative groups for information while giving freebies to liberal groups. The fees applied to Freedom of Information Act requests — allegedly, the EPA waived them for liberal groups far more often than it did for conservative ones.”

    Ready for EPA-Gate are ya?

    It's a Scandalpalooza!

^I don't think you have posted any of the numereous stories about Darrell Issa's ham handed politicizing of the investigation and his appearance on Candy Crowley's CNN program when he claimed to know what the results of the investigation were going to be without producing a scrap of evidence to support his claim and labeling Jay Carney as a 'paid liar' for the president.
Even rethuglicans are running for the doors over this latest blunder by the former car theif and arsonist.
