The shit is no longer dribbling in. It's a freaking fire hose spraying poo now.

It's unlikely anything will change, since people are still too stupid to demand the dismantling of the IRS completely. As long as the two party government system stays nothing will change.

IRS Didn't Just Hunt the Tea Party: Liberal Churches Also Targets

"Republicans are still furious over IRS scrutiny of non-profit groups with "Tea Party" and "patriots" in their names, but the life of the scandal depends entirely upon the political affiliation of the hundreds of other groups investigated by tax officials."

    "
IRS examinations of politically vocal non-profits is not new—the most recent outrage to make the national news was in 2006, when tax officials threatened and persecuted liberal churches during the presidency of George W. Bush.
But as the harassment of both liberal and conservative churches in 2004 and 2006 shows, it is sometimes difficult to create a partisan scandal out of some bureaucrats interpreting the ridiculously vague tax code prohibitions on non-profits engaging in political campaigns.
    "

"That the IRS under a Republican administration deliberately targeted liberal California churches has been forgotten in the manufactured outrage of the Republican Party's Tea Party-IRS scandal. That the IRS was still under the control of a Bush appointee during the 2012 scrutiny of new non-profits that self-identified with the Republican Party's Tea Party movement is also little mentioned, because the president is a popular Democrat."

Heh...the sheer arrogance of this Obama Administration is appalling. It turns out the top IRS goon who wrote threatening letters to Conservatives is promoted!

And it was just just two weeks ago Barack Obama said the IRS targeting of conservatives was “Outrageous!”

It appears some of the “rogue agents” in the Cincinnati office are being rewarded for targeting conservatives, not punished.
Good for them, if they stopped corrupt conservatives stealing taxpayers money.

That's wonderful news! I hope he or she will continue to investigate Tea Party groups for their illegal campaign activities.

Did you already forget Booners? Tax exempt charitable 501(c) organizations are prohibited from political campaign activism.

You mean organizations like media matters and moveon.org? They certainly weren't supporting Obama were they.

Begging your pardon Mr Earl, but Media Matters is a tax exempt charitable 501(c) organizations but it does NOT engage in political campaign activism. If it did, it would be breaking the law

MoveOn family is made up of a couple of different pieces. MoveOn.org Civic Action, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, focuses on education and advocacy, as well as on building the progressive movement by encouraging and supporting the development of more grassroots leaders.

MoveOn.org Political Action, a federal PAC, is focused on demonstrating MoveOn members' power at the ballot box and electing candidates who reflect our members' values.

    Source: http://www.moveon.org/about.html

^ Looks to me like Moveon has gone to great lengths to make sure they are in compliance with the law. Something the busted Tea Bag groups failed to do...

Indeed, of the 157 events Shulman was cleared to attend, White House records only provide time of arrival information -- confirming that he actually went to them --
All the rest is spin, nice try cornholler!

They are doing that, very successfully- and as the saying goes, in a Democracy you may not get the government you want, but you surely get the government you deserve.

As one who seems to have this philosophy that life is about suffering, and normal people are not entitled to anything from their society, what are you complaining about?

Let's talk about Placing The Obama IRS Scandal Into Perspective. shall we?

“The things Progressives fear-mongered about, that Bush was going to have people thrown in jail for checking out the wrong library books, didn’t happen. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, Liberals want to pretend the things that are coming to light only now, that went on from 2009-2013 are nothing, a sideshow, a circus, just a political witch hunt. Well it was a witch hunt."

Only a Scandal if a Republican is in office then, eh?

Where does that statement come from?

Emphasis should be on self-reliance and responsibility. Not looking around for the next handout. JFK's words "Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You But..." has turned 180 degrees with entitlement whores pouring out of the woodwork.

    Anyway, back on topic:

CNN: Almost 90 IRS Employees Under Investigation For Targeting Conservatives.

"The Internal Revenue Service has told House GOP investigators they have identified 88 IRS employees who may have documents relevant to the congressional investigation into targeting of conservative groups, according to a congressional source familiar with the investigation. The IRS asked these employees to preserve all the “responsive documents” on their computers, and it has been in the process of collecting it all to comply with congressional requests for information. The IRS missed its May 21st deadline to turn over documents to the House Ways and Means Committee."

That's A Lot Of "Rogue" Employees
