EVEN MORE MITTMENTUM: N.H. NASHUA TELEGRAPH ENDORSES ROMNEY:

Add New Hampshire’s largest newspaper to the growing list of papers that endorsed Obama in 2008 but are abandoning him in droves now. The editors stated:

So the basic question facing The Telegraph editorial board when it met last week came down to this: Did the former Illinois senator do enough to live up to those admittedly high expectations to warrant a second term?

After several hours of spirited debate, not unlike conversations taking place in kitchens and living rooms across America, we reached a consensus that he had not. Perhaps more importantly, when we identified the key challenges facing the nation – jobs, the economy and the national debt – we concluded he was not the best candidate to meet them.

That person is former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, and we hereby endorse him to become the 45th president of the United States.

Mittmentum is such a catchy word, don't you think?

As Mitt the Leader said to Benghazie Barry some time ago "Pack Your Bags" 'cause your a one-termer. Well, that appears to be more and more the case as even far-left NPR has Mitt up by one and up big with the Independent voters.

Dim Mitt, desperate for attention. Look at me, look at me: The Making Of Romney's Storm Relief Event and $5,000 in supplies from Wal-Mart

But the last-minute nature of the call for donations left some in the campaign concerned that they would end up with an empty truck. So the night before the event, campaign aides went to a local Wal-Mart and spent $5,000 on granola bars, canned food, and diapers to put on display while they waited for donations to come in, according to one staffer. (The campaign confirmed that it "did donate supplies to the relief effort," but would not specify how much it spent.)

you should wait before you speak out Boon, because your candidate has a history with changing his mind, time after time after time,......

“I believe that FEMA plays a key role in working with states and localities to prepare for and respond to natural disasters,” the candidate said. “As president, I will ensure FEMA has the funding it needs to fulfill its mission, while directing maximum resources to the first responders who work tirelessly to help those in need, because states and localities are in the best position to get aid to the individuals and communities affected by natural disasters.”

    ^^ S_Landreth,

I check realclear everyday, and if we can trust their averages, the toss-up states are valid.

Without toss-ups? That is not the way it works.

We have to wait and see.

I have now decided, although I vote Libertarian, that I prefer Romney to win.

They both suck, but B.O. had 4 year and he's got to go. Glad he got elected over McCain-Palin.

All Presidencies end, why not let him go now.

Yahoo News said today that Romney could get the popular vote and still not win. That BO would win the presidency because of the EC vote.

Funny how people who claim to be Libertarian always seem to end up voting GOP.

As a "Libertarian" do you believe in people's right to choose what they do with their own body?

There is a precedent for that happening; go google it.

There is a chance that Typhoon Sandy would play a role in that happening. Obama is likely to win the affected states, so gets their votes. But due to the storm aftermath many would not vote, affecting Obamas total more than Romneys.

I do not know who you are referring to. If me, then re-read the post above.

I already voted for Gary Johnson. I assume you know the victor will either be Obama or Romney. I used the world, "prefer."

As a "Libertarian" do you believe in people's right to choose what they do with their own body?
    Please be specific.

Also, I've never said I was a Libertarian.

The E.C. advantage technically is still with BO. But there have been many scenarios presented.

    GM endorses Obama

The [Romney] ads, which are being run on TV and on the radio, state that Chrysler and GM are shipping their jeep production overseas. A GM spokesman responded Tuesday with an unusually sharp rebuke, saying Romney has "clearly entered some parallel universe" and that it reflects "campaign politics at its cynical worst." Similarly, a Chrysler spokesman said there was "no validity" to the ad.
Mitt Romney Releases New Ad Repeating Debunked Claim About Jeep Jobs Going To China

Shocking. Disgusting. Libbie media again. Jeepgate is the biggest gate since, well the last gate. Damn American car manufacturers are libbies I tell ya, commies who want to sell cars to other commies. How dare they say that about Mitt, bet they wanna turn America into a socialist workers paradise where everyone drives a jeep. Typical of the commie media to report this too, it's a scandal I tell ya. It's them left wing Factcheckers behind this again, isn't it?

    Flipping and Flopping in Florida

Romney sidesteps Fema questions in Florida as he tries to arrest poll slide

Mitt Romney sidestepped a controversy over whether he plans to shut down the federal emergency response agency at an election rally in Florida where he is struggling to hold onto a once commanding lead in the opinion polls.

But the Republican candidate avoided praise for the government's relief response and did not touch on questions dogging him about a statement he made last year saying he would scrap Fema, which has led the post-Sandy recovery efforts. Romney hasn't been helped by the Republican New Jersey governor Chris Christie's praise of Fema and Barack Obama's handling of the crisis.

So now Chris Christie too is part of the vast left wing conspiracy. He's in good company too, with the pinko media, factcheckers, scientists, automotive industry, hollywood, and pollsters.

All three are good judges that Lawton helped put into office with the help of Jeb with one of the judges.

Rick (the dick) Scott wants them out because,…………..

The three justices already have come under fire from some Republicans angered by several high-profile court decisions, including one blocking from the 2010 ballot a constitutional amendment that was aimed at blunting the impact of the federal health care overhaul.: GOP opposing three state Supreme Court justices | TBO.com

That's bullshit- the GOP should appoint all the Judges, and sack them when they get their unbiased decisions wrong.

    Best Ad Romney's Done Yet!

Among the claims made by the ad is that the Obamas throw lavish parties at the White House for “socialist friends” that include flying in $100-per-pound Kobe beef from Japan; the President’s $800 billion stimulus did not produce any net jobs, and that “this deep recession was not caused by the Bush tax cuts, Republican lax regulation, or Wall Street greed.”

Every bit of that is true.

"Instead, it said the nation’s financial troubles were caused by the subprime mortgage collapse that it says was created by Democrats. It blamed presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama, along with Janet Reno, Franklin Raines, Chris Dodd, and Barney Frank"

Well, we're known those facts for some time now although there are a few Obamabots out there that refuse to recognize the facts.

    Source

Seems this ad has the Democrat dander up. Heh...that's a good thing!

If Republicans had the faintest hint of self awareness they might notice that their presidential candidate is currently running to the left of Howard Dean, that their intellectual wunderkind has been sequestered to keep him from openly talking about what he actually believes, and that their 2016 potential savior is currently palling around with Obama .... and maybe, just maybe, reflect that their policies are non-starters for the majority of Americans.

^^The ad stated: “While we suffer, the Obamas take multimillion dollar vacations around the world.

According to Factcheck.org, presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush spent more time on vacation during their first year than President Obama did. Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton also spent less time on vacation.

The ad also stated “this deep recession” was not caused by the Bush tax cuts. It instead goes back to blame President Carter, who signed the Community Reinvestment Act into law which was passed by the Democratic Congress in the late 1970s.

There are various theories to what led to the financial crisis of 2008.

Raghuram Rajan, a University of Chicago economist who warned before the collapse that Wall Street was out of control, in his book Fault Lines said it was caused by income inequality and lack of social services, such as health care.

Many analysts find former Federal Reserve Bank Chairman Alan Greenspan at fault for a variety of reasons, which include keeping interest rates too low between 2003 and 2005 as the real estate and credit bubbles inflated.

Others place heavier blame on credit rating agencies Moody’s and Standard and Poor’s.

According to the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council, the Community Reinvestment Act was enacted by Congress in 1977 and was “intended to encourage depository institutions to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they operate.”

Claims that the Community Reinvestment Act caused the crisis have been debunked since most subprime loans were made by independent lenders that were not subject to the law.

The lengthy super PAC ad also alleges that President Obama’s and the Democrats’ “socialist policies have already added $5 trillion to the nation’s debt. They created high unemployment, crashing home values, high food prices, and high gas prices.”

Data from the Bureau of Public Debt at the Treasury Department shows the debt increased $4.899 trillion during the two terms of the Bush presidency and it increased about $5 trillion since President Obama took office — putting the national debt at about $16 trillion.

That's just the first three. All quoted out of the article you provided a link to.

You should read before you link because you like the headline.

    From YOUR link:

Texas Gov. Rick Perry made the same claim in September, 2011, which sparked a number of fact-checking missions from media groups and nonpartisan economists — most of whom found that the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, which estimates the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, also known as the stimulus bill, “increased the number of people employed by between 1.4 million and 3.3 million” in the second quarter of 2010 alone.

But you see Misskit the point of this poster putting that piece up was evidence of the growing desperation on the part of the DNC. The points brought out are like red meat to Pavlov's Dog. Meethinks they protest too much.

In main, all those points are valid and true. Fancy beef dinners flown in from Japan, Mooch taking expensive 5 star jaunts etc., etc. The hypocrisy is appalling in light of their talking about all the 'sacrificin' they are doing.

Anyhow, it'll soon be over and y'all can bash Romney to your heart's content!

^ Sorry, it's pointing to the desperation of the Republicans. They have to stoop so low as to spout out already debunked nonsense.

You didn't read it first, did you? That is why the right wingers can get away with so much. So many people believe a fake headline and don't investigate any further. All hype, no meat.

Mitt Romney has lost his campaign for president as of yesterday (officially ).

Don’t need to show any polls with this post. Next week we’ll hear from the republican party that their candidate lost because of Sandy, but the real reason the republican party lost is because they selected Mitt Romney to represent them.

Romney is/was and always will be an awful politician/person.

    Character matters

Political polling guru Nate Silver is so confident in his statistical models that he just offered to bet MSNBC's Joe Scarborough $1,000 that Barack Obama will win re-election. Scarborough, you may recall, criticized Silver's math earlier this week, saying that "Anybody that thinks that this race is anything but a tossup right now is such an ideologue ... they're jokes." He was specifically talking about Silver's FiveThirtyEight website, which shows Mitt Romney with just a 1-in-4 chance of becoming president.

Seems the governor of NJ has basically handed the election to Obama with his praise of him following Sandy, probably a good move on his part as now he'll only have to wait 4 years to run for POTUS himself that's if the republican party have forgiven him by then.
