Anyone know of a Private hire Boat

Anyone with first hand knowledge of a boat/yacht for hire to travel around Krabi for several days ??

Not the live aboard dive boats as they are shared with every tom dick and harry.

Looking for something nice, but not super luxury and expensive. Not drive myself either, driver/guide provided.

Some of the boat charter companies around Phuket/Krabi charge over 100,000 baht a day up! Their excuse is safety and cost of fuel of course.

I can't believe some of the prices I am reading
2 million baht per week for a half decent motor cruiser

How about this for a idea?
Hire your own skipper and then hire a sailboat from here

Excellent...the tom yum is kinda what I would like I think.

Although a cat would be nice for the space also.

Cramped ???? You need to think outside the box.....travelling from island to island as you please, when you please....getting off on deserted islands and beaches when nobody else around....sunsets on deserted beaches and islands.

Swimming off the boat, snorkelling areas with no hoards of tourists around, early mornings on the water...isolation, privacy, pull into resorts for dinner then back on your boat....awesome....tents on beaches, sleeping under the stars....first to greet the tsunami....

Catching your own fresh fish dinners everyday....spearfishing, crab nets, squid....

Been there and done that, Anything more than a weekend takes dedication. The novelty wears off very quickly on a yacht.
I have done a week "thinking outside the box". Not doing that again.
Anyhooter, enjoy your trip and don't forget the pictures for the Wife's ass thread. And make sure it only the string this time. The blanket used last time covered way too much ass.

    There ain't much to cover.

She only wore a g-string once in public and that was in Oz....ooooh and I have a pic of that to somewhere....I think.

This trip won't be for awhile anyway, just wanted to know if cost is ok so I can then plan for it one day or disregard it.

20k a day is quite reasonable I thought for the tom yum boat.

I want to try to get another dolphin pic that BobsKnob posted. That one was so hard to take....his anus was ticklish and he would launch outa the water like that...amazing.

    The dolphins...not BobsKnobs.

100k a day, I can rent you a Sunseeker Manhatten 50 in Mallorca for less.

And as for the safety, I doubt any of the boats comply with the British Marine and Coastguard Agencies coding regulations.

Those Mark Pescott cats sail real sweet as well, fast, point high and run well under kite.

I have done many miles on a 12 metre one

With the catamarans, that would be a good thing.

Allows them to be built light so sail fast like they should.

My experience as a boatbuilder is cats built to survey usually perform like dogs
