Twisted Wheel

Any guys out there old enough to remember the Twisted Wheel? in Manchester before Northern Soul and Wigan Casino them where the days with all the old soul music.
I see that somewhere in Pattaya had a soul night well why we not have one in Phuket, if you live around Rawai we have the bar and I have the music soul music from the 60's we used to play in the Twisted Wheel lets have a get together listen to some good soul music and a few cool beers, lets hear from you guys.

Yup, I was reasonably regular there around the '68 era, for the all nighters every Saturday. The Blue Note, a few streets up towards Piccadilly was also good.

Done a bit of researching, and the best that I can get for music content, is the playlists from both the Brazenose and Whitworth Street venues: Playlist

Would be real difficult to get hold of any of this music, but not impossible I guess.

I have the music most of what was played at Whitworth street Wheel here on my pc would be good to get a few guys together, hey anybody see Little Stevie Wonder? at the wheel?
