   | High Speed Hydrofoil Coming to Phuket. Some well off Thai guy has bought 3 hydrofoils from the Ruskies. One is now in Phuket and has had the shit engines pulled and new German engines put in. The other two are coming. They hold 132 passengers each. Plans on being based in Phuket and offering tickets and tours to Phi Phi and Lanta. Thinks he can get 1700 one way to Phi Phi and 2200 to Lanta. They will offer tours as well. Hope he can wait out the lack of tourists. Top end the most.  |
