Had a few days in Krabi - (after Samui) - and enjoyed every day there..... fantastic sun-sets, nice daytrips to various Islands and.... the weather was kind for our stay there.
Had a nice Hotel on the Main Road for 600 THB....
Thank's for the photos - a great reminder of our Good time there.

    Hi Guys,
Thanks for reply's to my previous questions, but wait there's more 555
I'll be coming to Ao Nang from Patong and was wondering what would be the best way to get there. Ive heard you can catch a Bus from Phuket or the ferry.
Either way sounds good and Im not in a hurry.
Any info would be helpfull, and thanks.

Ferry Timetables- boats to places you want to go...

Accurate time tables are hard to come by, if they even exist at all. We've been around collecting what we reckon is the most accurate, and are happy to pass along our findings.... The Ao Nang Princess Ferry is a medium sized island hopper type boat. It probably takes a couple hundred people. Bookings can be made at any local travel agent.

Phuket - Ao Nang 500 baht Ao Nang - Phi Phi 350 baht Phuket - Phi Phi 500 baht Ao Nang - Lanta 380 baht

About 3 - 4 hours depending on transport, car can be much less than 3 hours. Hire a car, or take a minibus or local bus from Phuket's southern bus terminal. Buses leave from Phuket daily. Information regarding bus timetables, taxi or mini-van shuttle services can be obtained at hotels, travel agents or Phuket Airport.

If you are going by road, take Route 402 to Route 4 and pass Tambon Koto Kloy of Takua Tung District in Phang Nga; Tap Puhd District, Phang Nga; and drive through the Ao Luk District of Krabi. A number of buses run this route from Phuket daily, taking around 3-4 hours, or alternatively, taxi's or air conditioned mini-vans can easily be arranged and are much quicker. Information regarding bus timetables, taxi or min-van shuttle services can easily be obtained at the airport in Phuket, hotels, or travel agents.

    Great pics mate.

Ao Nang is a cracking spot in season and that snorkeling trip is a cracker also if ones lucky enough to hit a top day weather wise.

Great vibe family destination void of all the problems that inhabit Phuket and patters.

I love Krabi although I'm not a fan of Ao Nang, which has become a typical tourist beach strip. I stayed a week over christmas at a beach villa about 20km up the coast and drove into Ao Nang just to eat at a couple of restaurants. There are so many islands and secluded beaches in the area, it is really the perfect location to take a boat.
