yes yes I know there's a few, but not nearly on the scale of ghost sightings. Why are you so convinced that there is no such thing as ghosts Marmite? What's the one main reason that makes you say 'its a crock of shit'? | ||

| Animals can see and hear stuff we can't, we put it down to God and ghosts and whatever because we are an irretrievably stupid and arrogant race. What animals know and what is beyond space is beyond our comprehension but we can't accept that, being the best species and all - so we make it up in what ever context suits us. |

| How would you know ghosts don't have religion?I'd think quite a few of them do. God would "know", not believe, and he (assuming you mean the Christian god) has not commented on the existence of ghosts. But he demands people do not worship anything besides him. |

| Most of us are guests in a foreign country. We have no business telling the natives what they should and shouldn't believe in. If they want to believe in things that go bump in the night then let them. I'm not racist, but i hate immigrants to the UK and other countries demanding (and often getting) things their way. I'll never be like that. |

| The missus got up the other morning and said a Ghost had been touching her foot. I hadn't the heart to tell her it was the Dog's tail......she wagged it when I came into the room! |

Wasnt till the 15th century (or thereabouts, I havent googled the exact dates yet) when the Christian church made attempts to remove all references to magic and ghosts to separate itself from Paganism in the minds of the people.

| Next time that you want to tell a Thai person that ghosts don't exist,go to a Church/Mosque/Temple and tell one of the worshipers that their religion is complete bollox. When you succeed converting these people to atheism, you are now ready to tell Thais that ghosts don't exist.

| It's not just Thai people that believe in ghosts. Yes, they believe in them to an extreme I wouldn't go to (ie we were offered some land in a temple next to the crematorium & empty tombs because the Thais wouldn't use it for anything. I would take it, I didn't get a bad feeling there, at all) However, I've seen & experienced ghosts. So has Jet. We're not morons or in an advanced stage of mental illness (thanks Shitman!). Perhaps we're just more perceptive? As for proof: for hundreds of years it was supposed by some 'cranks' that the Earth was round. Of course, the flat-earthers knew different. They knew (without proof on either side) that if you sailed a boat to the edge of the world it would drop off. |
