| Christian nuts vs. Orthodox Jews Which are more vicious and despicable ? I put my money on the Christian Jihadists, they had century of training and the Inquisition to prove what they are capable of. The Jews were only able to fight among themselves and destroy their two kingdom 2500 years ago, far less dangerous, even though more combative |

| Always I read on here where the christians are the bad guys. When you studied history, did any of you pay attention to who the crusaders were? Did you notice that some christians at that time refused to fight and kill? The RCC and some christians were the crusaders. Yes, the crsaders were evil. The christians who protested and refused to fight are the true christians. There is some differences, you can't lump all people into one group. |

| Senior Member | not that this is an adequate excuse, but Christianity is not the only religion with a violent past. In actuality, the crusades were responses to Muslim invasions on what was once land occupied primarily by Christians. From approximately 200 A.D. to approximately 900 A.D. the land of Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Turkey, etc. was inhabited primarily by Christians. Once Islam began to spread and become powerful, Muslims invaded these lands and brutally oppressed, enslaved, deported, and even murdered the Christians living in those lands. In response, the Roman Catholic Church and "Christian" kings / emperors from Europe ordered the crusades to reclaim the land the Muslims had taken. The actions that many so-called Christians took in the crusades were still deplorable. There is no Biblical justification for conquering lands, murdering civilians, and destroying cities in the Name of Jesus Christ. At the same time, Islam is not a religion that can speak from a position of innocence in these matters.

The RCC is the only Church of Jesus, the others are worthless "sects", even the Protestant Anglicans are regarded as traitors to this day by the RCC. RCC is by far the less dangerous, they made their point. The worthless little sects that littered the US are still measuring their cocks and highly competitive among themselves. Quote:

Orthodox Jews- what does that mean? Does it mean the highly relicious Jews who do not believe in the existence of the state of Israel? Or does it mean the right wing religious Jews you see in so many of the Settler protests?

| Why do Christianity, Islam and Judaism always seem to be competing for the distinction of being the world's nastiest religion? One obvious commonality is that they're all desert-borne religions. Perhaps the hot sun, sand mites, women with mustaches and barren landscapes kept the old religious thinkers in a foul mood and dismissive of the beauty of nature. Would any of these religions have been created if the climate and natural scenery of the Middle East were a little more hospitable? |

Fanatics on the other hand are people who chose to take certain words in the scripture literally, the stuff that contradicts the others stuff, so that they can continue to act in an irrational manner enculturated through their family lines... /Blame the buddhists. | |
