Trolling again david44 you really need to get a life, personally bus transport does not interest me, we have 2 motorbikes a Hilux Revo duel cab and hi ace commuter passenger van in our household
Plenty of people complain on the internet about there not being a cheap Regulus bus service from the airport and this new service will please them and you i expect
All the details are on the Phuket News site for those who may be interested

Not only Thais Mate, a lot of expats who live in Phuket drive like they won their license in a raffle, or maybe the only driving license they have ever had was obtained locally which would explain the way they drive

Well david44 what you beleave or choose not to is of no interest to me
If you live in Phuket which i very much doubt by your posts, I can give you my address and you can hop on your bicycle and come and see for yourself
You are a immature, anonymous, stalking troll who thinks everyone is the same as you, which means probably poor
This forum unfortunately is going the same way as TV which is down the drain with fewer posters and readers every day because of people like you
That's one of the reasons Facebook is so popular, they do not allow anonymous stalking trolls like you
have a nice day, you need one it seems, and get help while you can

Fair play , many think I'm daft too, any way green due and a nice day to you too, I think you'll find things a lil different over here to TV, and you are the only poster to exchange reds with me , so I'll send you a green to cheer you up and not discourage your input.

Well, a welcome addition- especially to the many expats & locals that live along the 'west coast' of Phuket.

But wouldn't it be fair to say that places like Phuket, Hua Hin, Pattaya, CM (mainly Chinese) are already past saturation point with respect to tourist numbers?

How about a bus service to Khao Lak? My Mum & Stepdad stayed there a coupla years ago, no transport available except the notorious rip-off Phuket taxis. Not impressed.

How about tourist infrastructure & investment spreading out a bit from the usual, tired old suspects? Places like Chantaburi, the coast south of HH, the northern mountains etc have a lot of potential, it seems to me- and are barely developed except for local tourism, and the odd savvy westerner, usually resident here. Instead, the policy- or at least investment dollar- seems to be to develop a handful of neo-Benidorms, and keep on cramming them in like sardines. That does not work for me.

I'm sure some Chinese will invest, to absorb some of their tourist close to home. Of course they will be accused of ruining the place.

I've always thought it a splendid approach in the way it previously contained the flotsam and jetsam of society in Pattaya, but now there is severe leakage to places like Koh Samed. For years it was surprisingly idyllic considering its location.

Not sure what the answer is. Perhaps an IQ test in Klang? Either way I'd advocate more containment and less promotion of other areas.

It runs all day about every 2 hours, i do not think it will be operating for very long

Similarly (and correctly?), as the containment of the industry (the industry estates near to the tourists areas - Eastern Board) and less promotion of industrialization of the other areas (Isaan)?
