Places to stay in Patong Beach

Me and some friends will be coming to Phuket for a few nights at the beginning of 2015. Looking for a nice resort with 2-3 bedroom villas/bungalows to stay at in the patong area. Private pools would be nice. Also do not want to pay any fees to bring lady friends back to the room. Anyone got any ideas? I been to Phuket 3 times before but havent been there since 2004. I know its probably changed a little but looking to have the same type of fun.

Probably the best location and a really nice pool,(two pools) is the Patong Resort.
If that doesn't work out there's many others nearby.
One of the newer hotels sports a nice looking rooftop pool, don't know the name, but across the street from the Patong Resort.

Forget Phuket and head straight to Pattaya.
Its cheaper , its more fun , theres shitloads more to do and the wenches are far less mercenary.

But I know you wont take my advice. So be sure to pack a beach umbrella.

Beaches in phuket are rubbish dumps .. Dive in and surface with a plastic bag round your ear .. Or swap that for a Johnny in Pattaya.

there are plenty of beautiful beaches on the Andaman or gulf side, but everyone rushes off to patong or pattaya.
I wonder why? PUSSY, you and your mates can't get laid at home so you rush over here to get your dick in.

Last time i stayed in Patong beach we had a lovely hotel right on the ocean called the "Seagull" great view was a good priced luxury hotel food was good,You could throw a stone to the beach and ocean and a short stroll to the night life and shops etc.
Only problem with the whole holiday was it was in December 04 and was woken up to the tsunami which washed said hotel away well the ground floor anyway
I did return the following year and it was like the tsunami never happened so much money was thrown at it.

I've stayed at Baumanburi a couple of times (near the Hard Rock) and it's been good value and a good location - right nead the OTOP markets and 5 min walk top Bangla Rd. Never tried it for guests but I can remember being advised of a THB500 surcharge....
