    Croc went back.

The Dragon Lady and I had only just returned home from a little jaunt to LOS when we we came across an offer that was a little too good to let pass.So at the end of April(yes I have been slack getting this up) we headed off to Kata Beach for some hardly earned R&R,a little dive day and for the Scaley One to top up the tan and take the edge of that green tinge she develops in winter.

So this is where we camped for a couple of weeks.

To be honest the place was quite average, but we got it cheap so I wasn't expecting too much and can't complain about what we got

Woke up to this one morning and thought it looked rather good

This is the only form of public transport Ive seen in Phuket,it runs between Kata,Karon and Phuket Town.If the Dragon Lady couldn't beat this thing up the street dragging her tail behind her, well I'll bare my arse in Bangkok.

I did manage to sneak out for a days diving in the Andaman.Did a three dive day,but I will post some pics on a dive thread later.
    Crocman at Koh Doc Mai

    The dive boat.

    Can't say you weren't warned

Bangla road in the daytime(not often viewed so early) and the Tiger Bar.

This is a nice bar on the south end of Kata beach where it is chilled during the day and you get some good tunes at night. The Ska Bar.

These ladies thought I was very Hansum but the Fire Breather soon put them straight on that one.

And as for these young ladies.

    Can't finish without a picture of a crapper.3 baht a pop,not bad

And this is where it ends up.

What with the all the bloody Russians.Tuk Tuk drivers and rapidly rising prices in Phuket these days we are seriously thinking of giving the place the elbow and sussing out Khao Lak next time. But then again for the right price who knows?
You're fat,Ill fro you in the river

Nice one crocman, brought back a few memories. I havent been there for years but used to really love the place, sadly the thais have shot themselves in the foot by letting all that tuk tuk and jet ski nonsense occur

Glad you enjoyed BLD and yes you are right they have shot themselves in the foot. The silly buggers don't realise that the changing demographic of the tourists visiting Phuket will hurt them in the future.

About to jump over and check out your P.I thread. We are booked for March next year, can't wait.

Good thread. I was thinking about hitting Phuket next year (been a couple of years since I was last there), but Krabi seems more and more appealing.

^Khao Lak is our next Thailand destination and as Krabi is only a couple of hours away we might pop over for a look.Have always wanted a look at Railay beach so might be a good chance to do so.
