Football for children on Phuket?

We are in Phuket over the summer and was wondering if there is any places for our children to play organised football?

I would doubt it. The Thai schools are in session then, and the British school will be on term break. Sport sadly is lacking for children here. Maybe some pick up games on the beach or something like that would be all I could think of. Its the rainy season as well.

There's a new activity that has recently opened in Chalong, on the same road as the Zoo called 'Phuket Games Zone'. They have a football golf course (quite big) and frisbee golf, if that's something that would interest you.
