Phuket Wine, Cheese, Pasta and Pizza, review this then

About time we had some Phuket restaurant reviews in here, so I found 2 nice expensive places that are doing a good deal on Phuket next week for the week, so well worth a visit, don't forget your camera though, teakdoor thrives on photos.

Both restaurants are running the deals from the 1st to the 6th of September at the Thanyapura.

First up is the cheese and wine pairing at the Booster Bar, 2pm to 9pm on all days, everybody loves cheese, just send the Thai girlfriend out to the local food stall for some Thai fried rice.

    From their blurb.

Time for a wine and cheese boost. Relax with a glass of wine from our extensive cellar and a cheese platter while being entertained by a wide variety of sports on our big screen. The cost is THB 380 per person. It is THB 650 for 2 persons. Prices subject to 10% service charge and 7% applicable government tax. For reservations, please contact DiVine restaurant. Tel: 076 336000.

Or pizza and pasta at the DiVine Restaurant.

    From their blurb.

Back again for your dining pleasure! All you can eat Pizza & Pasta served hot from the stove DiVine style. Enjoy à la minute cooked on order of Pizza, Pasta & Salad. The cost is THB 550 per person for food only. It is THB 650 per person with 1 glass of Italian wine. Food with free flow of Italian wine is THB 850 per person. Prices subject to 10% service charge and 7% applicable government tax. For reservations, please contact DiVine restaurant. Tel: 076 336000.

2 nice choices for some food in Phuket next week, so tell us how it went.

Funnily enough. I though that was in 2004. Thai girlfriends are getting educated, good for them.

The Wine Connection in Phuket is quite good- it's a wine distributor that decided to open up a bistro to support it's wine sales. There are a few of them on the island, but the only one I went to was in Chalong. Not such a bad rip off, for Phuket.
