    Rain in Phuket

We have certainly had more than our fair share of rain in Rawai over the last few days, Also it seems people are loosing the power supply all over the island for varying periods, how has it been with you

I like this time of the year as well, not many tourists nice and quiet
You need a car to get around though or get drowned on a motorbike

What are the weather reports like here ?

It was meant to thunderstorm in Hua Hin yesterday. I had a great day on the beach. Stayed dry all day.

It's pissin it down outside here in Cha Am now though. Ahh it's easing up as I type

Still plenty of rain in Phuket, yesterday morning at 7AM the sky was clear, by 8AM the weather had set in and it rained on and of quite heavily all day
Today only a couple of showers the weather is clearing hopefully
When travelling to the north we always stay overnight at Cha Am and prefer it to Hua Hin, sea-foods quite cheap near where the fishing boats are kept

Must have been early because the website was correct once the venue was finalised.

I know because I do the website and I didn't update it after May 14th.....

Anyway it was held at the Kata Group Sports Ground on Chao Fah West Road.

I'll post a couple of pics when I get home to show the amount of water on the surface.

Certainly is unusual weather over three weeks with no rain you would think it was the dry season not the monsoon season

Better no thread than a crap thread that just wastes band-width.

The next thread you create will probably be along the lines of your other TV threads. How about "Where can I buy the cheapest toilet-paper to wipe my ass"?

    How incredibly interesting. Utterly absorbing.

Anybody remember that British program called "Ripping Yarns" where Michael Palin plays Eric Olthwaite who was so boring that his hobbies were annual rainfall and collecting Spear & Jackson shovels with three brass rivets?

Well, looks like his brother has joined the forum.

And just what is wrong with being a "bar and bar ladies type who lives in the UK"?
Are you a snob? If you are, you are certainly a boring one with the personality of a house-brick.

Cheap booze and sex is much better than expensive booze and sex, don't you agree?

Never been interested in Girlie bars myself or the type of farangs who hang around girlie bars waiting for the ladies to tell them how handsome they are even though most are not only well overweight but obese

Prefer to go to a restaurant with genuine friends and good company who you can have a decent conversation with

Personally i think the people who go to girlie bars have the personality of a house brick and the reason they go to that type of bar is its the only female company they can get
