    TD Photo Competition May 2018

    Dear ladies and gentlemen.

    Theme: Religious places/objects/beings.

Temples, shrines, spirit houses, churches, mosques, amulets, chedis, stupas, statues, crucifixes, monks…. You get the picture (award for worst pun just won )

Please feel free to post up to 5 of your own photos during the month, just mention which one is your entry before the 1st of next month.

It’s nice to see a title for the entrant photo, if you happen to think of one.

Photos from any time and anywhere in the World are welcomed.

    Thank you very much.

A multi-entry poll will be open from 1st-10th June for posters to vote on.

The winner will receive lots of face, a date with Dickie, a congratulatory PM informing them of their great victory, and they may like to discuss a theme that they would be interested in seeing in future months.

Thank you very much. Good luck. God speed.

    Sukhothai. 2011-ish.

    Sukhothai. 2011-ish.

Evening temple Sisaket. Around 2013-ish. Not the best quality of shots, but I like the shadows and some of the smaller details. Particularly the bird that you don't really see, until you see it's shadow, which looks a lot more bird-like than the actual bird.

    Evening light, Vientiane. Around 2012-ish.

Like the shiny gold on the outside (that reminds me of a 'Thai silk' necktie I bought in some Indian tailor shop when I first arrived. ) the little smile that you wouldn't notice at first, the evening colours, the shadows, and contrast between the mauve walls and brightly lit interior.

You need to flounce and return seventeen times between now and midday, tell us about how all your friends back home love/hate/couldn't give a fuck about unificating with the north, call Davis and Norton cvnts and stir fry your own cock.

By then it should be time for lunch.

Sorry I can't recall the names of these temples

Abandoned temple on uninhabited island on a huge lake in front of Sakon Nakhon Hospital

The Wat 25km outside Sakon Nakhon which is carved into a mountain

Wat next to River Kwai Bridge, on the other side

Notre Dame, taken with my old Nokia camera phone

^Nice to see a few pictures without PeeWee Herman in the middle of them. You almost made it through four in a row!

    Love those kinda ones.

One part I love about riding around the old Khmer empire is coming across small little ruined temples and buildings. Definitely prefer old, rustic temples than new and shiny ones.

    Nice to see Notre Dame.

Btw, that 2nd one could be a winner. Great shot. Thanks.

I don't have any religious themed pics. Hang on, would a Bishop's head count?

After having her wings clipped here, she went over to TC. If you want a giggle, go check her out over there. Massive meltdown and flounce within ten posts.

    The chicks got issues.
