Digital camera book for compact/ camera

I would like someone to recommend me a general book please if you know of one to help me with my newly acquired GX1 compact camera , with the four thirds micro lens system .

Unfortunately this only ships with a cd manual which to be honest really isn't a lot of help . I would like something along the lines of one of those dummies books , if anyone knows of one .

I understand well, that you don't find your camera handbook helpful. They usually are not.

I would still recommend a book specific to your camera. Do a book search with your camera's name. Something useful to you should show up.

Not sure if you're into torrent downloading , I have a good introduction book, nice and simple ,and thin.

or just go to your local library must be a similar book there .
Tip
Drop it out of the window, then go outside and collect it .
Saves having to worry about nagging overdue reminder letters !

Yeah I've done the usual searches , but I was just hoping for a bit of personal recommendations.

Takeovers the camera has been out about 8 months I think and has won some awards but no there is nothing specific for it ( yet ) fingers crossed
