    Best western hotel la corona - 3-5,000 pesos - 1166 M.H.Del Pilar st/Arquiza St
    Chillout Guesthouse - 1-1500 pesos -1288 M.H.Del Pilar st
City Garden Suites Hotel - 1500-2000 pesos - A.Mabini St
    Ermita Tourist Inn - 500-1000 pesos -1549 A.Mabini St
    Gran Prix Econtal Tesoro Building - 1500-2000 pesos - 1325 A.Mabini St
Hotel H20 Manila Manila ocean world - 2500-3000 pesos - Behind Quirino Grandstand
    Lotus Garden Hotel - 1500-2000 pesos- 1227 A.Mabini st
Manila hotel One Rizal park - 32,000 pesos
Southern Cross Hotel - 1500-2000 pesos -1125 M.H.Del Pilar st

Me on the other hand, stayed in a cheap but clean room for 500 a night. But its far out of the tourist area. On M.Adriatico, just past the roundabout Remedios Circle.

Not really. Its a piece of piss. Its next to San Andres sports complex. Think ive hot a hotel card. Will look when i get home.

EDIT: saying that, most taxi drivers i have met have never heard of the place, so i always have to give them directions. Quite funny, White guy giving a filipino taxi driver hotel directions. Anyway i remembered the place while at work today.

    Hotel De Antonio Pension Inn

Having played extensively in the old Ermita of the 1980's and just returned a few months ago.....I would highly recomend that you try another place to stay. Ermita today is a total shithole with real dangers, butt ugly girls, beggars and drugged out people living on the filthy streets. Hotels are crap and was just there overnight, waiting on a flight.
You didn't state your purpose of going to Ermita....but if you are just waiting on a flight and want a decent place to stay with a little [bettr than Ermita] night life, I would recomend the Anito hotel on the little side street behind the Herritage [?] hotel at the end of EDSA....The Aanito is a ST hotel with several others in a group of ST hotels, so you can compare......much better value and if you want nignt life, the EDSA entertainment complex is just across from the herritage hotel.

I thought that end of town is the worst. Many small bars and very Japanese friendly. I only stayed in Antonio cos it was at the end of ermita.

For a local karaoke i have to walk 20 mins to Angel Linao/Quirino Avenue. Thats the furthest ive walked to find a local karaoke bar and not a tourist one.
