  |  Scuba Diving Treasure Hunt Mermaids Xtreme in conjunction with Mermaids Jomtien announces The Michael Nichols Memorial Treasure Hunt 2006 When and where is the big event? The Mermaid's Dive Center 12th Annual Treasure Hunt will be held on November 25th and 26th at "The Mystery Spot" located somewhere west of Pattaya and east of Cambodia. Meet at the Dive Center at 8:45 A.M. We will have over 50 prizes including the usual gourmet meals, free nights at 1st class hotels, dive equipment, dive trips to the Similan Islands, men and women’s clothing, and much, much more... THE GRAND PRIZE IS A D-Synchro Regulator Set GENEROUSLY DONATED TO US BY DIVE SUPPLY! Seac Sub D-Synchro This all-new regulator from the well-established Italian manufacturer has an environmentally dry-sealed diaphragm-type first stage in a style that has proved very popular with British divers. It has four medium-pressure ports and two high-pressure ports, and is available with a DIN or international A-clamp fitting. The second stage is designed with a large soft rubber-covered front for easy access to the purge, a venturi plus/minus switch to beat exponential free-flows and an exhaust port shaped to fit under the chin. How does it work?  We've discovered 50 numbered Ancient Chinese Vases at 2 sites at "The Mystery Spot". On Saturday the 25th we'll dive Site "A" in the morning, and Site "B" in the afternoon. Saturday night will be a prize drawing at the Captain's Corner Restaurant. On Sunday we will re-visit both sites to find all the remaining prizes. The Sunday drawing will be done at a "Barbecue Party" upon return. Prizes can also be found in shallow water and on the beach or boat for skin divers! What will it cost me?
