FYI - holding seat for air ticket is always Free of Charge if you do it with travel agent. This is for normal air fare only.
- if you contact the airlines directly, they can never hold your seat, however, when you booked and paid, you will 100% get the seat with no risks
- The airlines will regularly launch promotions for cheaper fare with special conditions such as ticket must be issued within 24 hours, no refund, no reroute, etc. Make sure you ask the conditions before paying.
- E Ticket does not mean it doesn't have a hard copy, but it just helps you not to worry that you'd forget the ticket at time of flight, (and for environment)
- In addition to holding the flight (not issue), if you want to cancel it there is no charge.
- Maybe I should clarify the terms "book" and "issue"? For travel agent, booking air ticket means "having ticket on hold". The ticket will not be completely confirmed if it is not issued which means you cannot fly even you have it booked.

How do you know that your booking is confirmed and you can fly??
- You must receive the ticket number which can be 10 to 13 digits, depending on the airlines. If the agent (who wants to scam you) shows the 5 or 6 letters, those are booking reference BUT it's not guaranteed that you will be able to fly.
