Damn shame. This establishment had a fine selection of fillies working in teams to take it up the gary, and was well-managed to boot.
Allegedly.
LC offering spelling advice....oh the irony.

Seems it's a bit of a cursed location that. The previous owner died when it was the Pattaya branch of Eden after only being open 3 days.

Stickman's site actually had something interesting this week (abliet not written by him though).
Question 1: What are the legal consequences of working without a work permit in Thailand with current visa status not on overstay? What are the typical / maximum punishments? Has this been asked before? I guess this would be interesting for quite a few readers. I had a discussion with a few friends, and nobody knew exactly what the consequences would be.
Sunbelt Legal responds: Any foreigner who engages in work without a work permit, may be punished by a term of imprisonment not exceeding five years or a fine ranging from 2,000 baht to 100,000 baht, or both. Any alien who violates the conditions of his work as described in his permit may be punished by a term of imprisonment not exceeding three months or a fine of up to 20,000 baht.
Any foreigner who does not have their work permit with them while working, may be punished by a term of imprisonment not exceeding three months or a fine of up to 10,000 baht.
An employer who permits a foreigner to work in his organisation without a work permit or to act in violation of the nature of the work specified in the permit may be fined from 10,000 baht up to 100,000 baht.
Black diamonds? I shit 'em.
I'm not confused at all. I know I'm not British or American and am firm in my suspicion that I come from the planet K-PAX.Originally Posted by dirtydog

Meanwhile, from the original story:
Sounds to me like he thought he was untouchable. Silly sod.Pattaya, September 19, [PDN]: on September 19th , Pattaya Immigration police superintendent, Atiswit Kamonrat and his team carried out a raid on the Devil’s Den Escort and Hostess Service club, located at 33/134, Soi LK Metro, Moo. 10. A British national and a Thai were accused of operating a prostitution business.
At the four storeys building , on the ground floor, which run a club “the Devil’s Den” [used to be called “ the hell club”], police searched it and detained 21 female hostesses, a British man named Jack,[40] who claimed he was a club care taker.
The police also found a computer with photos of the club’s female hostesses and pamphlets, they took them as evidence. Police charged them for operating a prostitution business and providing sex service on the Internet.
However, Jack denied the charges, he claimed he had nothing to do with the prostitution business but the officials did not believe him. Police said Jack had been arrested and charged for operating a prostitution business many times in the past.
Jack and his employees were arrested and taken to the immigration office for further investigation.
