She has no experience in marketing herself or even knowing where or how to look for a job. I've been doing much of the groundwork and teaching her how to go about it, but it ain't easy.
Any leads we haven't thought of would be greatly appreciated. I'm already scouring the classifieds in the local weekly newspapers, but there are always now agencies and new publications...

9 years sewing caps in a Bangkok factory. She also subbed for a greeter(for tours) at a travel agency desk in an upscale hotel in Pattaya, but only for a coup[le of days.

Why not try the hotels, working on reception or in the back office ??

Walk in, and ask for the manager, a face to face meeting might make all the difference.
