Jomtien Gets a New Supermarket

Things are looking up for Jomtien, we just had a Tops Daily Supermarket open, it's by the Hanuman Statue just before you bare to the right to go to Jomtien Beach, that now means we got a Tesco, a Makro, Foodmart, (which is damn expensive) a tonne of 7/11s and Family Marts, really no need to go to Pattaya at all these days for shopping.

With all the Farangs in Jomtien/Pattaya I am surprised it has taken Tops so long to open a store there.

All very good, but how are shoppers supposed to enter? Looks like you need a dune buggy or decent trials bile to get over the rubble!

^They have spent the last few years rebuilding the road and widening it, now only being in my 40's I am hoping to see it finished sometime in my lifetime, but I'm not holding much hope on that.

On the subject of new buildings in jomtien, my mate said a new hotel was being built between vt5 and vt7.
Anyone seen owt about it.
Might be worth a try out down there on dongtan beach, in amongst all the gays.
