    True launches 8mb Internet connection here in Pattaya.

    and just like anything else Thai, you might get 2 megs for the first week and then it will start to slack off and in a month you will be lucky to get 400 KB/sec on a speed meter and soon there after you will be back to dial up speed.
    And not a damn thing you can do about it.

    Thats right, I pay for 2 mb and can only get 700 on the net, but if I hook to their speed meter here I will get smoke coming off my monitor..

    For websites inside Thailand it should be quite quick, the bottle neck going out of Thailand will bring the speeds down and how many Thailand hosted sites do you visit each day? Not many I should imagine.

    I got Dtac mobile broadband and it's not bad. It's not good but it is reliable. Mind you, I am the only persons in the district that has it. Perhaps that's the key.
