Is Oh Suzanna on your playlist?
I can belt out an awesome rendition on my harmonica.
I also know Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

How much do you pay? I ain't cheap.

I know Dave, he is a great guy and has a great place...but we are looking for people who want to play just for playing...no money involved...again this is a non formal thing....no salaries no obligations just for playing music...that sort of vibe! The guys playing the bar scene are usually very talented but have different time schedules and agendas....which is fine but not what we are looking for! This is basically for fun not a job...just a lifestyle.

That's me out then. I suppose someone who sings a bit and specialises in the synthetic treatment, and distortion, of other instruments is also out of the question?

    Rocker Dave here,
Been looking for musicians to jam with. Been playing off and on for the past 30+ years. Played with a couple of cover bands back home in the USA, but have made Thailand my home since last October. I am a rhythm guitarist for the most part, but have been known to solo now and then. Am in the process of developing my skills as a lead guitarist. I cover mostly old school rock and blues from the 70's through the early 90's. Played a lot of Motown classics when I gigged with cover bands in the San Francisco Bay Area, but have been doing solo acoustic work since I've been here. I current have my Les Paul and a Tayama acoustic with me. Waiting for Customs to release my shipping container containing my amps, PA system and other guitars. Hope that happens after the holiday. Been itching to play first and foremost for the love of music, but wouldn't mind the opportunity of working the local music scene. Nothing like being on stage with a crowd loving you when you're doing it right. Not expecting to get rich or famous. Just want to have fun.

Pluto, what a shame I recently moved away from Thailand because I would have been right up for that. I like to rock out with my Ibanez, and I've nearly mastered Happy Birthday aswellas a couple of Johnny Cash numbers (on 3 chords), if done slowly enough.

I'll let you know when I'm back in town.

Me singing must be ok too because the cats sing along and the missus always starts to cry...
    Cycling should be banned!!!

It was always difficult to tell fact from fiction as far as the Shifters were concerned.

Way too much sex and drugs and alzheimers left their marks on the members of the members.

    Rehearsal Studio Inquiry

Where is your rehearsal space located? What days/evenings of the week do you gather and what time do you start/quit. I'd like to check out your space Do you have a spare amp or is everyone expected to bring their own equipment? I'm still waiting to receive my equipment from the Laem Chabang Port and shopping for a step down 220v to 110v transformer as all of my equipment from the USA is I wired for 110v.

We're always here, and this is the kinda music we groove to:

By 2019 even fewer of us will be using combs.

No probs with the spoons though.
