It does amaze me how some folks form an opinion about a particular place without having lived there.

Haven't lived in Pattaya / Jomtien but have spent some time there... Long enough to get pinched by the BiB twice... Once again in Phuket recently... You must lead a charmed life...

I have never been pinched by the BiB in Pattaya mate, in fact my experiences with them (and when I needed them) has been great.

As far as living a charmed life I don't go out of my way to find trouble and up until today trouble has not found me.
