^ if you're there for a few months buy a cheapie and flog it
I used to get them brought from her village for about 8000b a pop
But I used to get them off local ferang bars instead of motorcycle rentals
I smashed a big bike up once it was a bit dodgy taking it back
No passport copy or nothing in a local bar
Not sure if pattaya is more strict now for bikes

Overview of the facilities and associations available for people with mobility, sight or hearing impairments in Pattaya...

Moving around Pattaya can be extremely difficult for disabled people. The streets and pavements are uneven and often blocked with shop advertising boards. Very few buildings provide ramps and handrails to aid disabled access. Guide dogs are rare and there are no audio signals for the blind on traffic crossings.

The Pattaya City Hall and the Tourist office (TAT) can provide details of hotels and accommodation that are accessible to those with reduced mobility.
