The Terra Cotta Restaurant is situated on Mabprachan, on the corner between Scotts Corner and The Venue.
I first went there a couple of years ago when it was just a lovely house owned by a Seppo called Randy who sold hot rods and collected old memorabilia (yep, a Seppo ).
It's been open for 2 months but I only tried it for the first time a few weeks ago.
It's a very well built modern resort like place and the restaurant is A/C'd
The menu is good, very good and the prices aren't painful either.
I had the ribs the 1st time I went and wife had lasagne, both meals were really good. The ribs were so big they were probably from a T Rex.
Last week I met a mate there for breakfast, once again all good with great coffee.
Today I took my son and he loved the mushroom omelette, sausage, bacon and baked beans. I opted for the lasagne which was the dogs danglies
They have a good selection of bottled beers, including Wife Beater (Stella) and Corona.
All in all a great place and on my regular list for sure, but I'm not sure how well it will do when the new motorway flyover is built outside its front door.
Methinks Randy sold up at the right time
